The lost Beauty of Mohurli Core. She was such a bold female who got so used up with the tourism crowd and human presence around. Sadly, we won’t get to see her again at her home grounds. She has been successfully shifted to another jungle. Why was she shifted from Tadoba to another jungle ?

For those who are not familiar with this : Tiger translocation is an important part of Maharashtra’s larger conservation strategy. Tadoba is basically a very well-established forest and has a healthy tiger population too, while some other protected forests have suitable habitat but need more breeding animals to build stable life cycles. So Recently, tigers from Tadoba have been shifted to forests such as Painganga and Dhyanganga, with the objective of establishing viable breeding populations and strengthening the wider tiger landscape across Maharashtra.

These movements are not necessarily because the animal was a troublemaker, dangerous or involved in any conflict. In many cases, healthy young tigers, especially dispersing sub-adults, are selected for such conservative moves. The idea is to allow suitable forests outside the established tiger strongholds to develop their own breed, while also improving genetic connectivity between tiger habitats.

For us in Tadoba, it is always emotional to see a familiar tiger leave its home range, but scientifically, such translocations can play an important role in expanding the tiger’s future across Maharashtra.

Golden Glow & Tigress

Indeed its all about serenity here, the calm and composed world around in wildlife which is practically a live example of what nature is all about. Not every tiger sighting needs a roar to leave you speechless. Some moments in the wild make you forget everything around you. This was one of them for sire, Watching this tigress walk along the lakeside, with the last golden light of the day spreading across the water, felt special in a way that is difficult to put into words.

I didn’t need every detail to be visible. In fact, the silhouette made the moment even more beautiful. The glowing ambience & and the quiet jungle in the distance came together in a way that reminded me about how beautiful nature around me is : For me, wildlife photography has never been just about getting a perfect shot. It’s about the patience, the anticipation, and those unexpected moments when nature gives you something you couldn’t have planned for.

Sometimes, I return with hundreds of photographs. And sometimes, it’s a single frame like this that stays with me long after the safari is over. This image is kind of a therapy that we don’t always need to see everything clearly to feel something deeply. Hence, Some moments are not just captured through a lens, they become a part of you undoubtedly.

15 Seconds of Pure Jungle Therapy | Let Nature Take Over!

Ever wondered how peaceful the jungle can be when there is absolutely no chaos around? Here is a beautiful 15-second reel that might just help you forget everything for a moment and immerse yourself in the magic of the wild. A female tigress walking straight towards your camera, golden sunrays finding their way through the forest, and that perfectly timed natural light falling across her beautiful stripes. Honestly, this is a dream sequence for any wildlife photographer, and witnessing it unfold in real time is something words can never fully explain.

But beyond the frame, beyond the photography, and beyond the excitement of encountering a tiger, there is something much more beautiful here. The peace, the silence, and the freedom of simply watching a wild animal live its life on its own terms. No chaos, no unnecessary disturbances, just a tigress enjoying her jungle, walking confidently through her territory while nature paints the most beautiful picture around her.

So, for these 15 seconds, I request you all to put everything aside, take a deep breath, turn up the volume, and watch this little piece of wilderness without rushing through it. Sometimes, all our minds need is a little reminder that peace still exists, and the jungle knows exactly how to deliver it.

Some Tigers Leave the Forest, But Their Stories Stay Behind

Tadoba is not just about the tigers we see on our safari rounds, the popular names we keep talking about, or the territories that attract hundreds of tourists. There is so much more happening inside this beautiful jungle, and every single tiger has a story of its own. Here is one such bold sub-adult male, Another lost gem from Tadoba, the male tiger (sub adult) led to adulthood by the power-line couple Gauri & Jr Bajrang from mamla buffers. Such A young tiger who was growing up in his familiar landscape, learning the ways of the jungle and building his own identity in the very forests where his journey began.

But unfortunately, when a tiger is forcibly shifted away from its home ground, we can only wonder what the future holds for that individual. A new landscape means unfamiliar territories, different challenges, and an entirely new battle for survival. Tigers are undoubtedly remarkable survivors, but that doesn't mean every transition comes without consequences.

As someone who has spent years observing these magnificent animals on the field, it is genuinely difficult to accept that we may no longer witness this bold young male here in the Tadoba landscape. Tadoba's real beauty lies in its diversity, its individual characters, their territorial stories, and the countless untold chapters unfolding every single day. Sometimes, we celebrate the tigers we get to see, but forget the ones whose stories quietly disappear from the landscape. And this is one such departure that leaves behind more questions than answers. by @clicknframe

The Four Little Musketeers of the Jungle

I often repeat this statement : certain moments in the jungle are not just witnessed by luck, they are earned through patience, perseverance, and countless hours of dedication on the field.

These four tiny musketeers are a perfect example of why I keep returning to the field even though tiring, with back-to-back rounds to attend, with the same compassion and curiosity. Witnessing tiger cubs is always special, but seeing all four walking together in a beautiful little formation is an entirely different feeling. Such occasions are rare, unpredictable, and incredibly challenging to witness, let alone photograph as well.

Behind this frame lies the journey of dedicative tracking, understanding & reading the forest, connecting the signs, following the movements, and patiently waiting for that one precious moment when everything falls into place. The jungle never promises you a sighting, and no amount of effort can guarantee a perfect frame either. You simply have to keep showing up, stay observant, respect the wilderness, and let nature reveal its magic in its own time.

And when that moment finally arrives, every early morning, every long wait, every challenging safari, and every ounce of hard work feels worthwhile. To witness these adorable little cubs belonging to my favourite pair, Shambu and Kajiri, was truly a blessing. Their innocent faces, curious eyes, tiny paws, and fearless little steps make you forget everything around you. For a moment, the entire world seems to slow down, Right ? leaving you completely immersed in the beauty of the wild.

WHEN THE JUNGLE SINGS, YOU LISTEN | 30 SECONDS OF PURE WILDERNESS

No filters. No artificial effects. Just the jungle in all its supremacy. Sometimes, nature doesn’t need a soundtrack. It creates one of its own

Here’s a 30-second journey with this beautiful tigress, where every natural sound adds a different note to the melody of the wild. The distress call heard around is done by Langur. Well : The more you watch, the deeper you find yourself getting drawn into her world. And trust me, the magic lies not just in what you see, but in what you hear.

This is exactly how I wish to present the jungle to you all, as naturally as I experience it on the field, without taking away the authenticity of the moment. So, pause that scroll for 30 seconds. Turn up your volume, leave the distractions behind, and let Mother Nature take over.

Because sometimes, the most beautiful music isn’t composed. It’s witnessed.

The Ultimate Stretch

I have been personally blessed with many of such beautiful moments in the jungle where you just cannot stop watching this magnificent animal and wondering what exactly is going on inside that mind. Here, this tiger stretches himself beautifully while getting his nose close to the tree, sniffing it with so much interest. But have you ever wondered why tigers do this? Well, there is actually some fascinating science behind this behaviour!

For a tiger, its not just a tree. It can be a source of information left behind by other tigers that passed through the same territory. Their powerful sense of smell helps them investigate these invisible messages, which may reveal the presence of another tiger, its reproductive condition, or potential territorial competition. Here comes the interesting part : Tigers communicate through scent marking, including urine spraying and rubbing their faces against objects. Specialised scent-producing glands around their cheeks can deposit chemical cues onto surfaces, allowing other tigers to investigate these signals later.

And that magnificent stretch ? Apart from extending those powerful muscles, the posture may help the tiger get closer to the tree and investigate the scent more effectively. However, we must remember that every stretch or sniff has to be understood in the context of the animal’s overall behaviour. As a naturalist on the field, these are the little details that make every tiger sighting so much more meaningful than simply witnessing the animal itself. The jungle is constantly communicating, even when we cannot hear a single sound. Sometimes, all it takes is a tiger, a tree, and a little patience to witness the science of the wild unfolding right in front of us!

Monsoon vines, When you have the best studio light available from mother nature, each and every corner of the forest feels alive, and then you just normalise the situation by not overdoing or over thinking but of course basic manifestations and there you go : Clear cut alarm calls around and the ramp walk begins : bold male leopard decides to give you a solo show for straight 45 minutes, what else do you even wish could get better with ?

That’s wildlife, a true adrenaline rush felt each second you decide to invest and spend.

In Frame : Sundari & her 3

Three tiny cubs to lead, a million battles to fight, and a motherhood that comes with no instruction manual!

The struggle every mother faces in the wild to bring her little ones to glory is something beyond words. Nobody teaches her how to look out for threats, nobody demands her to take risks, and nobody guides her on which rules to follow. It’s all about her instincts, her courage, and those countless sleepless nights where she stays supercharged to survive all odds and evens, simply because three little lives depend on her. Every step she takes is a lesson, every decision could mean survival, and every risk she takes is a reminder of how far a mother would go for her babies.

And then comes her partner, the magnificent Y Mark male (not in frame), who also visits his family once in a while, while carrying the equally demanding responsibility of maintaining the huge territory he owns. Two different worlds of responsibility I would say, yet one beautiful story of survival unfolding in the heart of Tadoba buffers & today these 3 cubs are already in to the celebrity zoned stage : very healthy & grown up . This frame captures Sundari taking a refreshing dip under the scorching afternoon sun, when temperatures were soaring to a whooping 42°C ! And right beside her, her tiny tots, barely 7 months old when I photographed them, were witnessing their mother’s world, one moment at a time.

For my audience , it may just look like a beautiful frame of a tigress cooling herself on a hot summer afternoon. But to me personally , it speaks volumes about out motherhood, sacrifice, resilience, and the unseen struggles behind every little life that grows up. Because in the jungle we reside, motherhood isn’t just about raising cubs; it’s about preparing them for a world where survival is the ultimate lesson & target.
