Throwing it back to one of the standout moments from the 2024 @si_swimsuit show during @paraisomiamibeach! Today marks the beginning of South Asian Heritage Month, and I'm incredibly honored to share two recognitions from the State of New Jersey.

Receiving a personal letter from @govsherrillnj acknowledging my work in early childhood education, advocacy, and the South Asian community was deeply meaningful. I was also honored to receive the official State Proclamation recognizing South Asian Heritage Month.

As a second-generation South Asian Indian American, I've always believed that representation matters. Whether I'm advocating for children and educators, building businesses that serve families, creating opportunities through community partnerships, or using my platform to amplify important conversations, I've hoped to make a meaningful impact both within and beyond our community.

To know that this work has been recognized at the state level is both humbling and inspiring. I don't see this as a personal achievement alone, but as a reminder of what is possible when we use our voices to serve others and create positive change.

Thank you to Governor Mikie Sherrill and the State of New Jersey for this incredible honor. Here's to celebrating the rich history, cultures, and contributions of the South Asian community, not just this month, but every day.

Cruising over Charles river and how 🫶🏻🫶🏻

But i guess only when you do check out the right way ! We took a summer night tour with @oldtowntrolley and it gave us exactly what we were looking for !

The Boston Summer Nights Tour & Charles River Cruise is a 2-hour evening experience that combines a guided trolley ride with a private river cruise.

This tour is a good choice if you’re looking for a relaxed evening that combines sightseeing by land and water without needing to arrange separate tours.

The Charles River cruise is especially known for its skyline views around sunset.

There's something about a Boston summer evening that just feels different.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the Charles River turned to gold and the skylines of Boston and Cambridge slowly began to glow. It's one of those moments that reminds you to slow down, look around, and appreciate just how beautiful this city really is.

[ #MarriottPartner ] One of the things I loved most about @thenotaryhotel is that it doesn't just preserve history, it tells it.

Originally opened in 1926 as Philadelphia's City Hall Annex, the building served as an extension of City Hall and housed government offices, including notaries, where important documents were signed, witnessed, and authenticated. Rather than leaving that history behind, the hotel has thoughtfully woven it into every aspect of the guest experience. Even the signature cocktails, like The Promissory Note and Burn After Reading, are clever nods to the building's storied past.

As you explore the lobby, you'll notice artwork celebrating Philadelphia's rich history and architectural heritage, along with one of my favorite design elements: the bronzed vintage men's hats displayed throughout the space. Inspired by authentic 1920s hat designs, these sculptures pay tribute to the era when government officials, attorneys, and notaries filled these halls, many wearing hats just like these as part of their everyday attire. It's a subtle detail, but one that beautifully connects the building's past to its present.

I love when a hotel embraces its history instead of hiding it, and The Notary Hotel does exactly that. Every piece of artwork, every design element, and every historic detail adds another layer to the story, making your stay feel like you're experiencing a true piece of Philadelphia's history.
