POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🏋🏻1000 POUND CLUB🏋🏻

Started actually working on this goal when Andrew Padgett randomly mentioned it to me a little over year ago. From that minor anecdote I didn’t realize how much work and dedication it would take to reach this goal.

All the time spent in the weight room, logging every set, double checking and correcting my forms, making adjustments to my queues, and learning what max effort failure feels like. It’s been one heck of a year and I still can’t believe it finally went! Literally could not have done with without the gym community continually telling me “you got this”. Now I can climb without feeling so exhausted!!! 🤩

Final weight count:

Deadlift - 465
Squat - 325
Bench - 225

Total - 1,015 by @climber_ronin

Crusty messy send brought to you by opening of Last Resort playing on loop in my mind
Frigid temps also meant couldn’t feel my hands as I topped out. Also tried Crimpinator and I think I found my most psyched project yet.

2024

This year I finally decided to work on myself

This year I realized how truly blessed I am to have such a strong supportive group of friends

This year I got to reassess my relationship with climbing and now feel more passionate and stronger with it

This year was full of time spent with friends (old & new), laughter, climbing, reflection, running, silliness, coffee and pastries, cooking for friends, petting dogs, late night talks, early morning car rides, and all the goodness that my soul was craving and needed

This year was good and it gives me hope that next year will be even better

I love you all so much and I’ll see y’all next year ✌🏼 taken in Birmingham, Alabama by @climber_ronin
