Hi there!!!

We are Frankie and Peyton Henderson- founders of Climbing4Christ! We wanted to come on here to introduce ourselves!

Peyton 🧗🏼‍♀️
Hi I’m Peyton and I will be leading this group! I’ve been consistently climbing for about 2 months now and am excited to keep improving! I accepted Christ and became a Christian my freshman year of high school and since then, it’s definitely been an uphill battle. I’d love to create a community that gives people who love both Jesus and climbing an opportunity to come together once a week in worship and community.

Frankie 🧗🏼‍♀️
Hey! My name is Frankie and I am both a Christian and a member of first ascent Arlington Heights. I will be a member of this group and am excited to be lead! I have been climbing for about a year now and have been following Christ for about 4. I am so excited to be apart of this group to connect with Christian climbers doing something I love so much.

If you have any questions about C4C or have any prayer requests, feel free to reach out!

God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day
Psalm 46:5

Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭25‬ ‭

The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭28‬:‭7‬ ‭

“But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.”
Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.
Psalm 9:9-10

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God.
Isaiah 43:2-3a by @climbing4christ
