People get so surprised when they play with our Chalkbags, even when they know they are magnetic. See for yourself. These are the reactions we have come to expect.

What a thrill. 1st Boulder in semifinals and Nina just casually (well somewhat) topped all Boulders in Semi‘s and then moved on and took the win for the Qld Boulder Titles 2026!

Congratulations Nina your hard work is really paying off and watching you today was just a joy!

I wanted to upload this climb, not only because it was my first ever sport lead route in competition, but also because I was still not sure if I could even do this competition after my injury. I had only been given the results the day before I traveled to Belgium.

I'm happy to say I loved this competition and hope they do it next year.

Now I am in my last training block before I head out to laval to the para series in France.

I love my sport, not only is it growing in numbers but also the style of competition is changing.

Yesterday’s GB Nationals at 270 Climbing
Climbing was my first time at the venue, and I loved both the event and the wall. Qualifications were fairly straightforward, everything felt on track, and I managed the heat and my MS well.

Then Isolation and Finals dragged on due to setting and scheduling issues. Finals were meant to start at 6 pm but didn’t kick off until just before 8 pm. By then, my MS and fatigue had peaked—after a 6 am start, a 14-hour day was always going to be a stretch. I know the longer the day runs, the harder my MS hits.

Can you spot the problem in the photo of me on the wall? What did I forget to do? I noticed the mistake as soon as I pulled on, but it was too late. With my brain foggy and the processing load of climbing feeling overwhelming, I came off early.

Huge congratulations to Charlie on the win. I’m genuinely happy I got to be there and compete.

Thanks to Gavin @coachnsettergav for the images. taken in 270 Climbing Park by @climbing_gems

Two days of hard fought competition third in the lead on Saturday and third in the boulders today. Turns out I was the oldest at the comp and twice the age of my two podium competitors. Really happy to be bring back two bronze medals not just for myself but as a @climbersagainstcancerofficial athlete.
Thanks to @kletterkalkuk @climbersagainstcancerofficial @shoechalk @_climbtop_ @get.tapedup @climbing_gems @climbpeak.store @cragswaggifts @beekindclimbing for all your support and @tchsouthampton for helping me train to get better and stronger.

Ange was kind enough to teach us how to set in the gym! We talked about me (Beth) learning to set over cocktails in Kuala Lumpur and the stars aligned for us to actually do it today. Chris, Daniel and Harlan all worked on climbs. Hopefully we have made life easier for the setters tomorrow by starting the cave reset a day early. Let us know what you think 🤔

See you on the walls! by @climbing_gems
