Last attempt on Lost Keys Traverse V6 (high point on Houdini match!). I dislocated my right shoulder on Thanksgiving this year (in this video but it’s not so visible so don’t worry) and haven’t been able to climb for the past month. I’ve been really bummed about it especially because I won’t be able to try this problem for quite a while after moving out of my place Santa Cruz. I’m traveling to Taiwan for a couple of weeks so I hope to be able to climb lightly in the gyms there while continuing to rehab my loose rotator cuffs :p Thank you to @aidan.fryparker for showing me the boulder that’ll stay on my project list and everyone in Santa Cruz that have climbed with me the past two years, I feel like I found my love for climbing there. short burst of energy after my weights session today, hit pr for 20mm crimp block and new highpoint for a V8+:

140lb (100%bw) @ 20mm for L and R
150lb (107%bw) @ 20mm for R

Improved ~15lbs both hands from May 2023 👍 by @climbingveryhard

Tried to force a rose move in my first couple attempts but realized the bump was much easier and probably intended! Another V9 down, spent the latter half of today’s session just exploring/goofing off on V10s and found two I’m fairly certain I can send by the end of the year. Staying hopeful 🤞 taken in Agility Boulders by @climbingveryhard

“bags of sand” V8/7b @ 45° on the Kilter Board Original.
This one felt tough for me, needed to be precise for the underclings on this banger from @jwebxl. I was taking a look at a couple V10s during this session and have come to the conclusion that I need strength training, specifically for lock-offs targeting my shoulders.

One More Restday Please V8/7B ⚡️ @ 40°
Felt I was too short to use the first footholds properly so I did a sneaky hand-foot match and just flung my momentum out to just barely span the move. Very happy with this go and looking for more training like this in the near future ☝️
