Climbing strength transfers in weird ways sometimes 😂
Tried an iron cross for the first time in years today after some band-assisted attempts and somehow managed to hold it for a couple seconds.
Definitely respecting the tendons and not spamming attempts after this one 🫡

I hung a 6mm edge for over 1 MIN 😅… now I need your help! Should I try weighted hangs or a smaller edge next? 👇 Comment your idea and follow to see what I attempt next 💪🔥 #FingerStrength #HangboardChallenge #ClimbingTraining #ClimbersOfInstagram #ClimbingLife by @climbs4life

Orange 7C from the Hard Set 🧡
Really enjoyed this one on the steep corner. Another good battle and one I’m happy to have ticked.

Haven’t tried the campus board in a long time, so decided to have a go today. 1–5–7–10, feet off and no matching. Felt pretty chill, so I’ll take that.

First ascent of the black 8A from the Hard Set at Boulder Brighton 🖤

Been working this one out over a few sessions and finally put it together today.

One of those climbs that feels properly satisfying when everything finally clicks.

8A ticked. Onto the next one.

Wasn’t expecting much from this one today 😂

After feeling terrible on it in my previous sessions since getting back from holiday, I managed to put the 7c+ together in two halves today, just before the comp wall gets reset!

I’d already been climbing for a few hours, had started training again and was feeling pretty sore, while basically nothing else was working out on the wall.

So I’m definitely taking this one 💪 Sometimes you just have to find a way through a session that isn’t going your way, try some crimps instead 😅👍

Made a big breakthrough on this steep corner 7C at Boulder Brighton today 🔥

I think the grade is debatable but either way a very cool climb.

After working the problem and figuring out the top sequence, I managed a really good go from the start — got all the way to the last hold before dropping it. Definitely felt the fatigue from all the attempts, but getting that close from the bottom is a huge step forward.

Feels like this one is getting very close 👊

First ascent of a crimpy 7B at Boulder Brighton yesterday 💪🦎 This one had been sitting there for a while, so really happy to finally put it down — especially with my forearms already feeling pretty cooked 😅
Always satisfying when a crimpy one goes!

Second hard orange on the steep corner, following the first one from the last set 🟠👌

This one is still a project though — only made it about halfway before getting shut down 😅 Definitely one to come back to and keep working on!

7B sent at The Duck 🦆 Boulder Brighton.
Really enjoyed this one — should have been a flash but it went second attempt 💪

Back from holiday and straight back into it 😅 Sent both 7B+ problems on the new comp wall, but somehow only managed to film this one because I genuinely didn’t expect the purple to go so quickly 😂

Also managed the first ascent on the far-left purple, which I’m pretty happy with considering I was definitely late to the party! 🔥

Always nice coming back and finding the fingers still work… just about 😂
