Free Workshop in Santa Fe next week! I (Sebastian Bailey) will be running a free workshop on strength training for climbers on 9/23 at Santa Fe Climbing Center from 6-7 p.m. Register at the link in bio/story! This will be focused on practical application- we'll cover how to structure a strength session and how to go about one in an effective way that improves your ability to generate force on and off the wall. We'll do that by going through a strength session, warm-up, hangboard, deadlifts and all so come ready to train and learn! by @climbsantafe

Our route setters and youth coaches spent the day hoarding all the brightest, coolest holds, and they just finished turning the wall into a brand-new vertical playground! 🎨✨ The old routes are officially history, and the fresh problems are officially live. To celebrate, our youth coaching dream team has already beta-tested the wall (and yes, they looked hilarious trying to squeeze onto climbs meant for 7-year-olds): 🧗‍♂️ Coach Bowen has already mapped out the ultimate “no-hands” challenge, which mostly involves shimmying like a confused caterpillar. 📣 Coach Jarod is ready to hype up your kiddo with the energy of a thousand caffeinated golden retrievers. 🦇 Coach Jahbran: Currently hanging upside down like a bat, plotting routes that completely disrespect the laws of gravity. 🤓 Coach Aidan: Armed with a whiteboard to scientifically prove why climbing with your nose is structurally inefficient.
