Here’s a simple 3-step reset you can use during the day… for when you just need a moment of calm. by @clint_meditates

Conflict will test you from time to time.

Here’s a simple 3-step reset I recommend:

Pause in the moment.
Breathe. Slow your tone. Choose not to escalate.

Ask questions after the moment.
Get curious. What was really going on? What did they need? What did you assume?

Meditate and reflect later.
Own your part. Strengthen your response. Decide who you want to be next time.

Conflict handled well builds trust. Handled poorly, it creates distance.

What are the three most common themes I see as an Insight Timer teacher? 🕯️ by @clint_meditates

If your mind keeps running when the lights go off, sleep meditations can really help. I record these as simple, calming listens to ease you out of the day and into rest. A fantastic assortment is waiting: link in my bio. by @clint_meditates

Three things I’ll never do when meditating myself:

1) Sit down expecting instant peace. Most days, I do feel calmer or more connected after meditating though, and this is usually enough.
2) Treat a busy mind as a problem. Sometimes I really need to be intentional about slowing my thoughts, because some days are just more hectic than others.
3) Use meditation to feel like a superior human being. We’re all on our own journeys and that’s OK.

As the year begins, what does your meditation or self-care practice actually look like when no one is watching?

Small, consistent moments of presence tend to shape mindset far more than big intentions written once in January. If you want practical guidance and steady structure, explore my courses and tracks on Insight Timer: link in bio. by @clint_meditates
