Life right now

I don’t get to the gym as often as I used to. I don’t immediately respond to every notification on my phone. I don’t “diet” or sleep 8 hours a night like I used to. I don’t stay out late. I drink on the very rare occasion. I connect with nature frequently. I don’t overload my schedule. No ego lifting. I don’t act or live from a desire to be seen, understood or validated. I’ve slowed things down & simplified life so that what is truly valuable to me gets the best of me and not just what’s left of me. I spend time in the sun. I spend time in prayerful meditation & intentional thankfulness. My roots have gone deeper. My eyes and mind fixed on higher things. I CREATE. Art, harmony, meaningful moments, adventure. I now discern between what distorts and what enhances my frequency. I make sure I recognise & experience joy regularly. I prioritise my well-being. Emotional, mental, physical & spiritual. I do not interact with energies that bring illness & disease. I check in with those who stay close & I withdraw from spaces that take more than what I can give. I’ve grown stronger in spirit & in my faith. I desire love, peace & wisdom above all else. This is where I am right now. Inhaling.Exhaling. Living. Being. by @clintonthebrink

10 years of @netflixsa in South Africa. 🍾 🥂 What a celebration ! What a night ! We are Global 🌍 We’ve always been.

What the @netflixsa platform and association has done for me was break the “local” perception / mindset of the millions who have only come to know me in a “limited” capacity.
It placed & presented my gifting in an environment that was truly representative of who I’ve always known myself to be as well as the true value of what God has placed inside of me.

I have worked hard, been diligent and applied myself as a consummate professional for close to 3 decades in the pursuit of breaking the SA glass ceiling and to represent my country, its heritage and to share the story of hope that has been my personal and professional journey. AND THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!

With all the changes happening , in our country and the world at large, many are going through the most. Personally and professionally. Mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Being in the creative industry my attention is always drawn to the many hardships creatives have to battle through in the public eye and simultaneously the pain or shame they hide behind the public face they need to wear.
As I observe and experience my own season of growth & refinement, it was dropped in my spirit a few weeks ago & I felt GOD say “ now is not the time to grow tired “

Experiencing this immediately reignited my fire and further motivated me to walk in my purpose with the knowing that I was made for a time like this. Here & right now .. & that I am never without the loving care, guidance & protection of the Most High God.

I share this with you as it has been shared with me. With love.
