Mammoth Lakes skatepark:
I could immediately see the influence of all the heavy duty snowboarding which happens in Mammoth. Obviously when Mark Hubbard pulled up here He understood the gravity of what needed to be built. This park has a sick new add on which can’t be more then 7 years old. The original park is filled with steep and deep transition and a proper cradle which carries a likely guesstimate of 25ft top to bottom. Rumor has it Jamie Lynn and some of his clan frequent the spot for sessions.

Solid 5 star park. Yes. 5 stars baby.

Nearby views and forest to match the laid back vibe of this heavy hitter. Definitely worth the drive if you find yourself near Yosemite’s east gate, Bishop or cruising the 395. (Disclaimer: locals may procure blunts with potential for non-verbal affects. Proceed with caution.)

It’s a very special joy to host travelers here at our humble digs. It’s an even greater pleasure when they get to experience and appreciate what a special community atmosphere the Barn Rats help to create daily.

@clips_4_less is a resident of Jackson Hole, WY and is visiting the area for a little while. He has come up multiple times and has been steady ripping all of our offerings.

Here we have Adrian Ballard. Son of the legendary Bob Ballard, who was an early pioneer of the pass road gap. Legend has it Ballard senior got so comfortable with the gap, he would hit it without even stopping to scout, or tune the lip. Adrian is doing a good job living up to his pops name. I know him as one of the more powerful riders on the hill, who can snap a board, or break a rib, and still have the stones to throw his signature tricks off the jumps in bronco. Cheers Adrian, you the man!
