You've seen me post about video for a while now. What I haven't really talked about is why.
For years I'd get hired for a one-off shoot, deliver something I was pretty happy with, and then... nothing else really happened with it. Either it never got posted, or there was just no plan for what comes next. No consistency, no real results tied to it.
So I've started @cliquegroupcreative. It's a team now, not just me with a camera... working on strategy, content and ads together, plus social management if you want it off your plate.
Still the same me behind the camera, still standing on pelican cases to get the shot, just building it into something bigger.

Black and white was the dress code.
Colour was everywhere else. 🖤🤍🔥

The guests thought the show was on their balcony. Then the building across the road lit up!

For the Elará Melbourne launch, @evie_entertainment surprised everyone with a full band, pyro and fireworks on a completely separate rooftop. We were there for all of it: the event itself, plus a multicam capture of the rooftop performance.

Some days are just made to remember. 🏆
Another spectacular Caulfield Cup Day, with the atmosphere and entertainment across the racecourse reaching another level!
A massive shoutout to every one of our performers and crew - you absolutely delivered! 🔥
The talent, energy and professionalism across the board were outstanding. 👏
And what an honour and privilege it is to work alongside the incredible teams behind the scenes who make this iconic event such a special part of the Australian racing calendar.
Proud to play our part. 🫶

With light vs without. If you picked the second one...we need to talk 😅

Here's how I built this one:
☀️ Fake sun: FC-720C + FL-20G Fresnel
💡 Back edge: FC-120C
💡 Key: FC-120C in a 60cm softbox
Neg fill plays a big roll here. Without it, the light bounces everywhere!

These have pretty much become my go-to kit for interviews now. Enough power, full RGB when I want to push colour, and small enough that the setup doesn't take over the room.

Being great at what you do only counts if people can see it!

Your customers are scrolling right now. The question is whether they're finding you or the bloke down the road.

Here's three things that actually move the needle 👉

Real work. Real people. Real knowledge. That's it.

📌 Save it for your next content day

My colour grade treatment in Final Cut. Shot on @dzofilm 50-125

709 conversion - Exposure - Look/Colour - Blur - Blur 2 - Diffusion - Grain

I spend a bit of time on set dialing in my lighting so when I get to the edit room there’s not a lot to do because I’ve made a lot of decisions to the final look on set. I know there’s probably a lot more I could do with this image, but im hungry and I need to eat dinner. Bye 👋🏽 by @cliquegroupcreative
