I am so proud of each of my Notre Dame rommates and should dedicate a post to each of them. But today is your day, @bethannfennelly . Because today is the launch of your book of micro memoirs, The Irish Good Bye!! And I want everyone to buy it and read it!!

I also want to invite anyone in South Bend to come out to meet Beth Ann and hear her reading from her new book. She is as captivating in person as she is on paper!! She’s also funny and God knows we need humor more than ever!

Lets make South Bend/Notre Dame the best stop on her book tour! Honor her Irish roots and book title by showing up the day after Saint Patrick’s Day!!

Reading Info:
Wednesday, March 18
4:30 Reception
5:00 Reading
University of Notre Dame, English Commons, 2nd floor Decio Building

If you do not know BA, I encourage you to get to know her!! Beth Ann has been distinguished as both a professor at Ole Miss and a writer. She served as poet laureate of Mississippi from 2016-2021, but has published work in many genres- fiction, micro memoirs, freelance articles for magazines, compelling opinion pieces in the New York Times and the Washington Post. Her work has been featured on The Moth and NPR’s Morning Edition.

Be sure to come on the 18th and buy several copies of her latest book! ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️ You will not regret it! by @clknanni

Happy Birthday, BELA❤️ As Nana Susie reminded me yesterday, you were born in the middle of a blizzard 29 years ago. Like that blizzard, you were a beautiful and powerful force of nature from the moment you arrived. You continue to live life to the MAX, with courage and unabashed authenticity. You help us to be more creative, more open, more spontaneous, more fun, more courageous, more present to the moment. While I am a very anxious & reluctant “mommager”, I am your biggest fan. Keep growing as a person, and as a songwriter and performer. Don’t settle for anything less than great. The sky is the limit!!! Lalu❤️ by @clknanni
