An agent's guide to BENEATH THE SCARS: the sci-fi romance I've been mentioning here and there for the past year. *** Jessa lands in Hub-City with one thing in mind: flying to Xerus to rescue her sister, Claudia. She will do anything to get her back. Val is no one's hero. Half the man he was after experiments gone wrong, it took him years to make his body his again. Thrown together on a dangerous journey, Jessa and Val have more in common than either expected. *** 👋 Agents: if this is something up your alley, the full manuscript is available and the synopsis too. The book has been through professional edits. NO AI involved in any part of the process. * Character art on slide 3 is by @iinka29 * * * * #agentguide #scifiromance #amquerying #querying #querytrenches by @clmari.writes
👋A very similar text to the one you can find on my "about" page on my website. (How dare I reuse content?). 🤪This is the part where I’m supposed to write in 3rd person and amaze you with my writing exploits. But that’s not me. ✨️Me? I write stories that will make you question who your heart belongs to. 😁Stories where you will find sweet and nice characters, but also stories where people will suffer. I love villains, so I will also create my own villains, of course. Stay tuned! The villain rocks, the villain is awesome, and the villain deserves the girl (even if my husband doesn't think so). ❄️You can find me in rural France, drinking coffee. At the time of this paragraph, writing is a “hobby”, so I write at night (and sometimes during the day), like a goblin in a cave, and I hoard ebooks like a dragon. (My ereader is so stuffed...AH! Pun intended.) ➡️I have an anti-AI policy. Everything I write is human-made. I hire artists, and I have an editor to check my work. by @clmari.writes
✨️The Whisperlight Valley Series is back on KU. ✨️ Read in order (or don't if you are chaotic like me). It's better to read book 1 first but not mandatory. 🙌This is a low-stakes, cozy paranormal series with no spice. 💕The Trinket That Tied Us Callum’s hiding a big secret about who he really is. Mina’s had feelings for him since they first met. Can they overcome their fears and make love triumph? 💕Go to Hell or Whatever… Ria’s visiting Whisperlight Valley for a breath of fresh air and a change because her magic is giving her a hard time. Among other things… Az has been traveling too much between Hell and Whisperlight Valley. It’s taking a toll on his body and mind. He needs to go back home. Then he meets Ria. After everything they go through, can love conquer all? Artist 🎨 @satmolls by @clmari.writes
Happy release day!!! HALLOWEEN is here, and that means the Prometheus Anthology by @snakeskin.press is coming too. Check out their Insta. ✨️My short: 'Human-Made' is a: "The City of Dreams" hides dark secrets type of story. I know I write about monsters falling in love but this one is different, still has monsters...but they are OH so different (and it's horror/and gory). My love of villains and the making of villains feeds into this story. Fun fact? After writing this, my brain went full out, and that's where the sci-fi romance was born. ✨️The press: Snakeskin Press is a Queer Indie-owned Publisher focused on uplifting queer voices, publishing diverse work, and giving visibility to smaller and emerging authors. Snakeskin Press is firmly anti-AI, anti-fascist, anti-genocide and anti-discrimination. by @clmari.writes

Halloween is coming FAST! So here is a short vampire story. This story got the same treatment as my books (editing and formatting and all that). It was written for submission but didn't make it (it happens). 🦇Read Blood so Sweet. My short vampire story for FREE. Romance blooms between a vampire and the human he turns: admiration and yearning with a drop of revenge. Content Warning: Blood, non-consensual feeding, violence (domestic/physical/murder), transphobia, estrangement from parents. This is a queer-friendly story with trans rep. You can find it on itch.io if you prefer to download it there. The epub is on itch.io only. If you don’t have itch and would prefer the epub, feel free to drop me a DM.🦇 #vampirestory #indieauthor by @clmari.writes
I have a to do list... a very long one... but maybe I need to focus on the paperback of my latest release. It's coming soon. And it's discreet 🤫 Falling for the Alien Warrior is short, sweet and spicy alien romance. Fuelled by coffee and my love for monsters. NO AI! What's inside: ✨️⬇️ 👽Alien MMC × Human FMC 👽Insta love/lust (the book is short soooooo...) but there is some Yearning too. 👽Mine / Make me yours 👽Fated mates (and he's an idiot) *** Falling For The Alien Warrior is a dual-first-person-POV alien romance. Expect low stakes, flirting, an alien warrior navigating feelings, a nerdy human with good intentions, and a HEA. This story is sweet, spicy, and intended for a mature audience. by @clmari.writes
