Clone Commando
AKA “Advanced Assault Trooper”
A Custom Minifigure by @cloneforgelaboratory

Accuracy - 4/5
For Star Wars fans, this design should be so easily recognizable. The armor design feels very much like something that I would expect from an official figure, and the custom-molded helmet is brilliantly shaped and detailed. I appreciate that at least something was done for the backpack, which is a printed 1x1 tile attached via a white LEGO neck bracket, but I wind up swapping this out somewhere down the line for something more specially shaped. There is only a black unprinted headpiece beneath the helmet, but this rarely ever bothers me unless it is a named Clone Character whose face we have seen before. The rounded outline just above the hip piece is upside down compared to how it should be on Commando armor, but that is indeed how it looks on Wrecker’s.

Print Quality - 3.5/5
This figure is adorned with some very crisp pad-printed detail with great opacity. Some black lines are a bit thick, but the opacity is solid, and the blue visor even glows under UV light. The printing is of high enough quality that this figure looks great on display or as part of a MOC, but there are some very small points where the prints bleed across the plastic surfaces just a bit, and these might be more noticeable up close. The grey shapes around the black collar area may seem a bit dark, but they’re pretty plainly visible IRL, and my lights just sort of drowned them out.

Design - 4.5/5
This figure is deliberately designed to look right at home among official LEGO Clone Troopers. The torso and leg details follow the outlines of the official Hunter Minifig from the Bad Batch since his armor is extremely similar to that of Clone Commandos in the show. The design of the visor printed across the helmet looks great, I really dig the arm details, and the print on the 1x1 for the backpack doesn’t look half bad either. Some of the black lines are a bit thick in some areas, but not to the point that it’s visually annoying.

FINALLY!!! A solid Delta squad had been needed for way too long, and my buddy @cloneforgelaboratory hooked us all up with the best rendition of Delta we’ve seen yet!

Love how there seems to have been a huge resurgence in customs made for the older SW’s games like Force Unleashed, Old Republic, and now Republic Commando! Hope we can keep that momentum going to see some more older generation characters ✊🏻

Here we have Delta Squad Commandos made by @cloneforgelaboratory and these are one of my favorite products from him. Pad printed on all official parts with a custom molded commando helmet. The printing and details on these are amazing and extremely well done! The visor print does glow with a UV Light. More products from this wave reviewed soon!
