To my additional grandma!!! I can remember back when I was first dating Ley. Gma was on speaker asking Ley are you dating a Mexican 🤣😂. … believe me I use to it get all the time. Another thing that was always funny to me was she would always call me Carlous just like my aunties and grandparents who were all from the south. It always made me smile. I knew I of one the grandsons when she ask me do something that took sometime and she would put some money in pocket and couldn’t turn her down 😂. She had one of my favorite author’s books with Dr. Myles Monroe which we had a couple good convos about. Gma was also a Movie girl. Some of the funnest times was going to the movies with Gma and my wife family to see any of the super hero series. Thats just a few that hold sacred to my heart.
Grandma was faithful and diligent when came to serving her church family in Covington. GMA Laura was something else with her little ways about her keep me tickled for real! She was beyond special and you lines of people will be able to tell you how she helped them and encourage them. You are truly missed and I thank God for you being my Gma too. I can still see and hear you say, Hey Carlous with such an inviting smile!!! by @clos2029

So good to see you in person the other day! My coworkers been holding me down and made sure I celebrate my birthday some way somehow lol! Everyone have been so kind and I been getting free food and stuff all week😂🤣. I am very appreciative… by @clos2029

So I have two students I teach drop by my office and gave me some flowers. I was totally surprised and they made my day. These young ladies rarely miss and always participate in class. They mentioned that they appreciate a lot of things I presented in class that helped them in their first semester. by @clos2029

Happy Birthday and Mother’s Day to my loving mom no words can describe how much I’m grateful to God that you are my mom. I truly can say that my kindness and being generous to others comes from you. Over the years I’ve learned so much from you. You really love your family and friends. No matter what you always try your best to do right by others. You are such an amazing mom. I’m so thankful that you are there when I need you and can read like a book when my heart hurts even here in my voice. I always hope you are happy about me (I don’t use the word proud anymore)you encouraged me through so many years and things. It always so fun to talk about our Korean Drama shows. The craziest thing me and my wife Laura Ley Ley Rodgers have been together 16 years on this day 14 married. One of my first major promises to her was to get married on this day!! We made in it happen March 12 2010… unconventional as all get out. I knew that 6 months in Ley was the one for me. I found some one that chose me back. Even through time our no money in our pocket, we both grinding school, job, life in general. The Lord God allowed and kept us together in spite the craziest roller coaster ride we ever encountered 😂 🤣. I really Thank God for his grace and mercy that carried us thus far. As wife told me yesterday to the next 14 and counting!!! We were built for this journey together. I love you Biddo bee!! #14andcountinghappyanniversary by @clos2029
