Congrats to Team NJ 2011! We are 2026 State Wars A Division National Champions!

National Champs. Those are two words that very few athletes ever get to say. Winning it all takes talent, sacrifice, determination, and an unwavering commitment to your teammates.

We played with pride and honor, finishing the round robin 3 & 1. We battled our way through the playoffs and wound up playing team Alberta in the championship game. Alberta struck first, but Team New Jersey never blinked, and its leadership group took over.

Lucas Johnson was outstanding between the pipes, turning away chance after chance and allowing just two goals all game. Austin Shaw got New Jersey on the board with our first goal, then delivered a beautiful assist on the game-tying goal by defenseman Tyler Reger with just five minutes remaining.

Then came the moment every hockey player dreams about. With three minutes left in regulation, Championship Game MVP Brady Gray stepped into a booming slap shot from the blue line and buried it top shelf for what would become Team NJ 2011’s golden goal!

The final three minutes felt like an eternity. Team NJ’s defense shut everything down, sacrificing their bodies and protecting the lead. Alberta threw everything they had at the net until, with just one second remaining, Lucas Johnson made an incredible right-pad save to preserve the victory.

The buzzer sounded. Helmets, sticks, and gloves flew into the air as pure mayhem erupted. Without hesitation, the entire team raced to the Team NJ family section to celebrate with their parents and friends through the glass. It was a moment that will be remembered for a lifetime.

Congrats to an incredible group of players, families, and friends on becoming the 2026 State Wars A Division National Champions! You represented NJ with class, determination, and heart. We couldn’t be more proud.

Waiting for lower mortgage rates could end up costing you MORE!

A lower interest rate doesn’t always mean a lower monthly payment, especially if home prices continue to rise.

Don’t let waiting for the perfect rate cost you the perfect home!

Thinking about buying? Let’s run the numbers and see what makes sense for you.
