IT’S ANOTHER WEEK! THAT MEANS MORE FRESH HOPS! STARTING WITH FRESCO BAGNATO ITALIAN PILSNER! Every year, our first brew of harvest is a lager brewed with some of @goschiefarms finest Oregon noble hop varieties. And this year, our friends @steeplejackbeer collab’d with us on an Italian Pils - bringing us some fresh Tettnang and helping us dial in a blended, European malt from Weyermann. Layers of lemon peel and cucumber and parsley and honeydew melon jump from the glass, as the soft, white crackery malt keeps the balance in check. Verde! Dolce! Delizioso! Allegria! We’ve made a beer together for 12 years, we’ve been friends for 15+ years, and now we’ve made @cloudburstbrew officially a part of our family (just call Steve Luke our new step-brother). We are releasing Citra Slicker Wet Hop IPA NEXT TUESDAY, 9/29 in 16oz 4pks and doing a special DRAFT ONLY release in Yakima for our Post Harvest Party tomorrow! We brewed this IPA with HUNDREDS of pounds of wet Citra hops picked fresh from the fields @loftusranches, just four minutes away. Crisp, aromatic, and bursting with tropical fruits and fresh hop character, Citra Slicker Wet Hop IPA is all about these fresh, farm-grown hops, made by the big, happy, blended family of Bale Breaker and Cloudburst Brewing! 🧡💚 by @cloudburstbrew

TODAY we RELEASE….The Greatest IPA (and the crowd goes WILD). How do you sell the last “normal” IPA before we unleash the wetness? Well, for starters, you give it a name like “The Greatest” because how could anyone not buy the greatest IPA? Exactly. And also, you load it with hops nobody in the PNW will be tasting for months - we’re talking about Galaxy and Vic Secret from Australia, and Waimea and Pacific Sunrise from New Zealand. That’s some straight up, unique AF Southern Hemisphere banger product. And if you lighten that malt bill and dry the beer out (which we did), you make it so crushable that this beer literally drinks itself. Only The Greatest for you! Ooh AH gee Grr - MoSAicIn ME CrAzY IPA is back this week! From the brewers that used to refuse to do single hop beers... but still previously did like 5 of them, plus duplicates... comes this IPA only brewed with... MOSAIC... AGAIN. Wait WAIT, don’t leave! Let us explain. On the surface level, it sure looks like a “single” hop IPA. BUTITSNOT. We used 10 uniquely different lots of Mosaic, from 5 different harvest years (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, & 2025!?), from 10+ different farms that we know of (because some lots are blended), in 2 different forms - T90 pellet & Cryo Pellet. Ok, still with us? So by using this many different types of Mosaic, it allowed us to create more depth and gave us more control of the outcome than your typical boring ass single hop beer. The end result is the most robust and all encompassing Mosaic hop profile we could ever dream of. Got it? Get it. For this week’s IPA we brought back a recent curveball. Ohhh snap! CAN YOU HANDLE IT AGAIN?! It’s packed with Citra and Krush and Nectaron but there’s a twist…it’s LOWER IN ABV…like, a whole percent lower than our normal range at 5.7%. Some of you might call it “weak,” but that would be so SO wrong. It’s loaded with notes of yellow peach fuzz, orange creamsicle, and dole pineapple fruit cup with a smooth mid-palate and a soft finish. Don’t you dare conflate abv with flavor intensity, not here, NOT today. If anything is to be deemed “weak,” it’s your will to not have another one of these directly after you finish the first one.
