Jessie + Troy 🤍 A beautiful September day on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Soft pinks and greens, dinner glowing in the evening light, and a quiet walk along the lake.

So much beauty in this day, but even more joy—which will always be my favorite part.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is when everything planned is over and everyone can just let loose and have a great time. Drinks in hand, shoes often coming off, and all the wonderfully unpolished moments in between. ✨

They say keep Tahoe blue, but I’m pretty partial to this palette 😌 An unexpected mix of colors that carried all the way through to the wedding day. Swipe for behind the scenes on creating this beautiful suite!

Memories are made of this
Don’t forget a small moonbeam
Fold it lightly with a dream
Your lips, and mine, two sips, of wine
Memories are made of this
Then add the wedding

So honored (and still a little speechless!) to have been voted a Best of Tahoe 2026 winner in the Wedding & Event Planning category. 🤍

The older I get, the more I believe that life is measured in moments, not milestones.

A quiet boat ride across Lake Tahoe.

The people who know you best.

The freedom to gather with family and friends.

The person you choose to build a life beside.

Those are the things that stay with us.

Photography has given me a front-row seat to what matters most. Across hundreds of weddings, I've learned that beneath every celebration, we're all searching for the same things: love, belonging, laughter, beauty, and a place where we can simply be ourselves.

Maybe that's why I love photographing weddings so much. They remind me that, despite all the noise in the world, humanity is still incredibly good at coming together.

Today I'm grateful for this country, for the freedom to create a life doing work I love, for wild places like Lake Tahoe that remind us how small we are, and for the people who choose to spend one of the most meaningful days of their lives trusting me to preserve it.

Happy Fourth of July. Here's to celebrating love, community, and the moments that remind us what really matters.
