this time last year. EP release party

music is my first love. always will be. it really helps me organise my thoughts.

ive come to think music is a way of communicating with the divine. and it’s a two way thing. i impress my thoughts and feelings on a song, but there’s also a clarity i receive from music that i don’t think comes from me.

i lie to myself all the time, intentionally and unintentionally, but music forces me to look at and reckon with the truth. Doesn’t always mean I’ll pattern up straight away, but it at least brings my awareness to it

July 2025 i went to ShadesOfMigration, left the space feeling charged. i spoke to Isaac after and he gave me some real insight into how that came together. appreciated bro

May 2026 i curated my first ever art exhibition with Tyes. it was such a learning curve. really stretched man ⏸️

Aug 2026 i helped curate the Street Lamp Gallery’s ‘After Dark’ art exhibition & fashion show. XP is cumulative and i’m grateful to be meeting people willing to share their knowledge & demystify these processes. it’s love fr by @cloudwatching___

First EU tour was an amazing experience. Not all glitz and glamour but so beautiful nonetheless.

Mans an international DJ now unah !

It had a real grassroots feel to it despite the fact that most man ain’t touching other countries to perform in sold out venues. Feeling like we were figuring it out as we went along, cause we were; 3 man stepping across the EU.

A lot of flights that were nearly missed and a lot of post-show late night reasonings. A lot of time spent navigating the politics of the music industry; time spent partying with foreign crowds, creating links abroad, meeting cool people and dealing with weird fans.

Shit ima tell my kids about for sure 🤣

We thank God.

As my body continues to heal from this one here, I’m deeping it’s actually a nice achievement. I probably would’ve flaked if I was doing it alone (LD held me accountable).

Looking forward to 2025 now, playing with the idea of doing a full marathon, either Brighton or Manchester. Mad scary thought rn but that’s all the more reason to do it. by @cloudwatching___
