What a weekend in Albuquerque 🙏🏽😎

Cruise Control, the lowriders, the music, the meet and greet, nothing but great energy all weekend.

New Mexico showed me nothing but love. Grateful for the hospitality and everyone who came out and made this weekend one to remember.

Much love, ABQ. Until next time. 🌵🏁

Webster Collection Presents Carrier Wave
A live exhibition by Randy L. Barton and Cloudface

Friday, August 14
Opening Reception with Live Painting and DJ Sets
5:00 – 7:00pm

Saturday, August 15
Large-Scale Live Painting in View of the Plaza During Santa Fe Indian Market

Contemporary Indigenous visual language meets street art, hip hop, and live performance here. What looks like the newest idea is often the oldest impulse wearing a new form.

The gallery becomes a working studio.
On opening evening, Barton and Cloudface will create a painted work and a soundtrack, alternating between canvas and turntables, one painting while the other DJs. On Saturday, August 15, the artists move to the rooftop to create a large-scale live painting, and the public is invited to witness the piece take shape over the course of the day. taken in Webster Collection by @cloudxface

Flipping some thrift store records from a recent dig. I wouldn’t normally pick this first record when looking for samples but sometimes an album cover speaks to you. This beat is far from done but I’m pretty happy with where it’s going.
