What a wonderful Monday it’s been already! Waking up to this email made my day! I rarely sign up to be a part of street teams but once I saw Leigh post about accepting new members I just HAD to.

Thank you Leigh and your team for allowing me to be a part of the street team! I’m so honored and can’t believe this is real! Excited for this journey to begin!

⋅˚₊‧ 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅ get to know me 😊 ⋅˚₊‧ 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅
•Hi I’m Rae, 27, & from Wisco!
Very new to bookstagram! Wanted to create this page to share my new found love for reading and to make new friends to talk about books with!
•Started consistently reading in April and it’s been so much fun! Dark Romance is the main genre I read 🙂‍↕️ my favorite series I’ve read this year has definitely got to be Edge of Darkness Trilogy by @authorleighrivers and Hollow Boys Series by @author.montyjay . They are the books that have been my 5 ⭐️’s and I will forever recommend them! I read on my kindle because I get to distracted if I listen to the audios and physical books intimidate me 😅 but would def love to buy books in the future!
•I’ve got a WIDE range of music I listen to. From r&b, to musicals to kpop! The main genre I listen to is kpop! & BTS is my all time favorite group 💜 (any ARMY here? 🫶🏻)
•When I’m not reading I love doing my nails (it’s more of a love hate relationship 😂 only because I’m extra sometimes and like to go all out) or I like digital coloring! (I have a coloring page too @cloudy.palette but it’s been a while since I’ve posted there) I have been burned out and haven’t been coloring as much but hoping I’ll get back into it soon!
•concerts are my happy place! It’s been forever since I’ve been to one, ya girl is broke 😭 but also saving up for when BTS comes back in 2026, so can’t wait 💜
•sorry this was so long and I rambled but if you made it to the end, I appreciate you and hope you can welcome me into the book community! (Sorry in advance for any grammar issues or typos 😅)
- All the love xx ⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚

⋅˚₊‧ 𐙚 ‧₊˚ my rating system ✨

Saw @jules_stacksonstacks post about her rating system and also just in general been seeing these posts and finally decided to make one! Just a little inside of how I rate my books. TBH if I’m having a good time and vibing with the story or characters I’ll most likely rate it 4 or 5 stars. I feel like I’m not too picky 😊 I’ve only DNF’ed maybe 4 books and I think there’s really no point in rating because I didn’t finish the book. I think that in itself explains how I felt about it. & again this is just how I rate my books!

💭 anyone else just rate purely off vibes?

snack • drink • book

Happy Tuesday! It’s been so long since I’ve had some sourdough and Nutella! And I don’t normally drink hot coffee but it just felt right this morning 🙂‍↕️

poem of the day 📖 @r.h.sin

I think from the beginning of the year I’ve been wanting to have this mindset. Most would say I’m a people pleaser, but i want to be selfish now, for my own peace, for my own sanity. Learn how to choose and pick my battles. It’s time to put me first.

I’m just a girl! A sensitive girl! 🥺🤣

💭 do you relate with this poem?

𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒕 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚 | @authorkbritchie @read_bloom

Fairly new to this universe as I started with the 2nd gen! But with the 2 books I’ve read so far, im actually so obsessed with it already. Krista and Becca have such a way with words, it fills you with so much happiness and you can just FEEL the love between the characters. Another thing is the mental health rep, it’s always so raw and real.

Patiently waiting for the 3rd book for this series to come out 🥹
