Hello, My name is Clover Brown! I’m currently an exercise physiology and dance student at the University of Akron.

My dance journey started promptly at 12 years following my discovery of Misty Copeland. 12 year old me couldn’t believe she was seeing a confident black woman (who also started dancing at 12) performing with the American Ballet Theatre. Since then my purpose as a dancer and instructor has been to share my knowledge of and love for dance.

In my professional career I’d love to make dance more accessible through community endeavors and education. It is a privilege to move, with that privilege comes the right to dance. All humans — no matter their ability, age, race, religion, size, gender, or financial status deserve to dance. by @cloverbrowndance

Only now realizing this never got posted! Here’s a sweet little combo I came up with for my studio’s senior company. These girls dance beyond their years!

Learned a piece of All That Jazz from Miss Emma a few weeks ago! It’s a style I’ve adored since I first learned it but never got to divulge into!

the one where I don’t cramp with less modifications😝 on a serious note, dance is my expression. It’s my voice when I have no words. I’m eternally thankful to share it with my favorite people. @studiowestpac @choreobybrookesmith by @cloverbrowndance
