𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗠 𝗥𝗢𝗬𝗔𝗟𝗘. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗘. Getting to be part of a show like this is exactly why we do what we do. Two seasons, some of the most fun crane moves on television, and the chance to bring our cranes and our crew to a production that swung for the fences on every single frame.

To everyone who believed in us and brought us onto this one, thank you. Trusting us to help realize a vision this ambitious means everything to us.

Because for us, it was never just about the gear. It’s about the people, the collaboration, and the privilege of helping bring someone’s vision to life. Being in the room for that is the best part.

"Love is a bridge, and not a wall, if we let it be."

Is anyone else still holding out for @sense8 season 3, or is it just us? 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🤞 #Panavision branches all over the world supported the final season of #Sense8, which was shot by legendary #cinematographer John Toll ASC with a package that included Ultra Speed primes & Panavision Primo Zoom lenses.

“I have a long history of working with Panavision, and it’s always been an incredibly positive experience," Toll told us when we spoke to him just after the series finale. "Just the logistics of it all — we needed reliable support. At one point, I decided to remove myself from the logistics planning because I wanted to concentrate on shooting the movie, not wondering how we were going to get cameras from one part of the world to the other. The easiest way was to make this the responsibility of #firstAC Chad Rivetti (@clrivetti). In collaboration with Panavision, they figured out how to get cameras where they needed to be. It was like a three-dimensional chess game, and I was happy to let them work it all out!

A and B cameras worked in tandem nearly all the time. A-camera operator Daniele Massaccesi AIC (@danielemassaccesi) was on the #Steadicam nearly 100 percent of the time. We adopted a system of shooting traditional wide master shots and, during the course of the shot, gracefully moving into other angles and even close-ups at times. Essentially, we were often doing masters and coverage within the same take. B-camera operator Stefan Stankowski was always handheld and looking for opportunities to support Daniele. This was an idea driven by the necessity of the schedule and the volume of material, but it was also greatly due to Lana Wachowski’s visual sensitivity and commitment to telling these stories with stunning imagery. Lana stayed with Daniele while shooting and was able to make choices. This greatly expedited the whole process, and due to the exceptional talents of this team, it all worked well."
