Last year, I started the renovation on my front yard with a 5-ton excavator. Following the @usopengolf at Shinnecock, I took out my injector and added some soil revitalizer and poked holes all over the yard about 4-8” deep. Ten seconds each injection spot followed by 10lbs of Bermuda seed.

Memorial Day is always a rough weekend for me, physically bc Murph, but also mentally too.

Remembering brothers and sisters I had the honor and pleasure of serving with that are no longer with us all while life is kicking me in the teeth.

It’s about remembering, not holding on to what happened. Keeping their name alive helps their legacy live on.

Watching my oldest daughter give a speech about our family members that served and have since left us for their next life was icing on the cake!
