Finally, our last 2026 Exercise Science Departmental Distinction Awardee we want to recognize is our very on Departmental Assistant, Dania Nour!

After graduation, Dania will be working on a research project this summer with Joli Fong and James Bermudez under the mentorship of Dr. Peterson. In Fall 2027, Dania plan’s to pursue a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, with an emphasis on leadership and high-performance training somewhere in the US.

Time to highlight our third Exercise Science Departmental Distinction Awardee, Anna Evenson!

After graduation, Anna will be taking a gap semester to travel to Europe and Africa before starting an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program on the East Coast in January 2027.

Anna says, “The Exercise Science program has been a pleasure to be apart of. The faculty and the students are what make this department so special.
