It’s been a long time coming, and I’m still processing it all. This will be a long post — I want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s helped me reach this point 🥹!

To my family — Mom, Dad, Jason, and Byron:
Thank you for your endless love, patience, and belief in me. You’ve given me the courage to keep moving forward every time I doubted myself. I wouldn’t be here without your support, or the foundation you built that’s led me to meet so many incredible people in Boston, New York, and now Fresno!

To my second family, VAMM!
Over a decade of friendship, laughter, and chaos — it’s wild how much we’ve grown together. Thank you for standing by me through every version of myself and for staying connected no matter where we are in the world ❤️

To my Boston friends:
Thank you for all the laughter and memories — from dance practices and potlucks to late-night walks and road trips. You turned a time of uncertainty and doubt into some of my favorite memories and made Boston feel like my second home!

To everyone I met in New York:
Thank you for changing the way I see that city. What was once just noise and chaos became one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. Those two years shaped me profoundly — every adventure, every conversation, and every act of kindness left its mark. Whether we still talk every day or not, please know how deeply I value the time we shared. You’ll always have a piece of my heart.

To my new family here at CHSU (& Ampersand!):
What a whirlwind these past three months have been! It’s hard to believe it’s only been that long when it already feels like I’ve known some of you for years. The transition into medical school hasn’t been easy, but having you beside me — encouraging me and reminding me we’re all growing through this together — has made all the difference. I’m so grateful to be on this journey with you.

If you’ve made it to the end — thank you! I feel incredibly blessed for all the opportunities I’ve had, and for all the kind people I’ve met along the way!
I’m nowhere near the finish line, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and doing my best along the way.

Turned 27 this year! Can’t believe how fast the past year went by honestly 😅. I’m very grateful to have celebrated my birthday with my parents and lovely friends ❤️ My heart is full (and my belly too)🥹😆

Highly recommend the mocha cake from Paris Baguette 😁

Officially done with OMS-I! A lookback at some of the memories throughout this whole academic year :)

Nothing really prepares you for the challenges you’ll face in medical school. All the setbacks, imposter syndrome, and anxiety that come with managing school and life hit you all at once, with no breaks in between. It was a lot to handle at times, but I’m proud of the resilience I’ve built through it all and the opportunities I’ve had the chance to experience during this first year. ☺️

I’d like to thank my medical school friends who always fill my cup and reassure me during the hell months ❤️. I also want to give a big shoutout to all the upperclassmen who have been supporting us since day one! Y’all are going to crush your board exams 🫡.

I know I always post long captions now, so I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read through them haha. Excited to relax a bit this summer, and then it’s on to OMS-II! (Couldn’t tag everyone in the post… sorry!) by @clutics

AAO Convocation 2026! I had so much fun learning new techniques and also observing how other doctors weave all the various treatment techniques together. Ending the event off by providing each other treatment techniques in our Airbnb was the perfect way to wrap up the convocation too hehe. OMM is truly an art form and this has been such an eye-opening experience :) I would like to thank all the scholars and classmates who joined me on this trip ❤️ I learned so much from each and everyone of you and really enjoyed our conversations throughout the week ☺️ looking forward to more convocations in the future! by @clutics
