CROWDFUNDER ALERT!! - LINK IN BIO We are currently running a Crowdfunder campaign for our short documentary ‘OiNk! - PIggs, Puns & Plops’. A massive thank you to everyone who has donated, shared and contributed so far. We’re at almost 50% of our target with just under two weeks to go. Any further donations, posts shares etc would be hugely appreciated. Anything we make will go into finishing the film, screening and ultimately releasing it. There’s loads of perks and options available, even a couple of quid helps us along. Thank you Pigg Pals! https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/oink breadandbutterfilms.co.uk/oink #oinkcomic #britishcomics #oink #shortdocumentary #indyfilm by @cmbend

Who's going to the brilliant @lakesinternationalcomics ? The festival is always so great, but this one is back in Kendal and bigger than ever, with 40 events over 2 days, Friday 2nd Oct - Sunday 4th. Theres so much going on, but there is a masterclass with @kevfcomicart that will be loads of fun, @stevemcgarry and @lukeymcgarry in a father-son live draw, a Room 4 Comics session for @littlelicaf with @marcmakescomics, along with so many brilliant artists from all over the world, and quite a few who have an OiNK pedigree! We're so so proud to be a little part of it this year - our film will be showing on the Sunday, we would love to see you there! by @cmbend
*CROWDFUNDER ALERT* Which comic for kids was quoted by an MP in the House of Commons, hidden on the top shelf in the newsagents, and gave Charlie Brooker his first job? (Yes OiNK obviously) OiNK: Piggs, Puns and Plops looks at the origins, influence & legacy of a revered cult British comic. We’ve almost, nearly, pretty much got it totally finished, but we need a bit of help to get it over the line, to raise some funds for screenings, and to get the film and some extra and maybe some new material available online for fans old and new. If you can chip in, thats very swine of you, and if you can't, sharing does just as much good, we’d love to get more people interested in this brilliant bit of British comics history.
