CMC STUDIO - CLOSING

SATURDAY 26.09.2026 · FROM 17:00

This Saturday marks the final public opening of CMC Studio at Neues Ufer 19 before we move out of the former Menzel Elektromotorenwerke at the end of the month.

For one last evening, LIVING SOIL will be open in its final stage, accompanied by performances throughout the evening by:

$UNNYWATER$
ASA MAYNARD & GÖKSU KAYA

Over the past months, CMC Studio has temporarily transformed 670 m² at Neues Ufer into a space for artistic production, exhibitions, performance, music and exchange. We want to thank all the artists, collaborators, friends and visitors who have contributed to the project and made use of the space with us.

The 26th closes this chapter and our time at Neues Ufer, but CMC Studio will continue beyond this location. More soon.

Come by from 17:00 for the final evening.

“A GOOD TIME WAS HAD…”

Yes-yes, those are some snaps and clips from the preview shows of the musical.
Missing are scenes where I’m in a glittery number, sexy boots, sci fi gown, singing, walking, seeming like it’s all gonna fall apart any second!!
I love live theatre!!

ART TERRY (& THE CHURCH OF PUSSY) are behind that first song I skated to. It’s called “PIMP” and it’s from the classic album wonderama, imo: SEX MADNESS.

VERY CHOCOLATE are the trio behind “BITCHCRAFT”. They are a super group who’ve crafted some of my favourite songs to jam too.

Folks, the DONNA LANGLEY shows are a way for me to celebrate the enrapturing collaborations from all the lives I’ve lived!! Indeed they feature scenes and songs with my favourite busters!!
“No two shows are the same. Best to see them twice, if you don’t believe me.”
@artterryband and @very.chocolate are two of my most cherished friends & co-conspirators. My eventual success will be theirs. You’ll see.

#nakedreviewsbyncube

Thank you @cmc.studio.berlin and all the dope-ass Artists who brought the house down!!!

🌸

That book I hold is entitled: “THE THRILL OF BEING INVISIBLE”. 25 bucks for that splash of sunshine in the cold months!! Or 10 squids for the e-book. DM me.

I wish you a wonderful day!
& yes, if I can go back in time, I’d re-adjust my flashy wedding trousers so you don’t see the black socks. I dress the way I dress to avoid wishing for a time-machine. by @cmc.studio.berlin

aurora -Shadows that fill the space with the absence of their matter, diffusing through the substance of my mind, opening heavy doors without a body.

Madeleine Rose White (P.D.O.A.)
Adequately unhinged.

Performing artist & creative producer, director, specialising in authentic voice & movement. She displays a multi dimensional approach, with a music catalog that ranges from post punk ~ indie rock, to electronic femme floetry.
Madeleinerose.eu

Ncube - writer, actor, filmmaker, playwright, humanist, loves God, respects A.I. but does not use it, any pronouns, wants to marry a particular Superstar & have Showbiz kids, oh aaaand… wishes to be cast as a supporting actor in a limited series

SELF INFLICTED is a new performance piece from the depraved minds of VALENTIN TSZIN & HURRICANE ALEXANDER, a haunted memory wrapped and coiled around itself. The piece challenges viewers to confront uncomfortable truths about fear, sexuality, shame, and the complexities of self-deception. Here, the evolution from gifted child to gifted adult radically mutates, along with the artist’s understanding of art itself, and their confounding desire to be, in its most extreme form, artless.

Here you go
Chaimae Boukri aka La Faille
The Building Hearing Itself, 2026
Sound installation, continuous stereo loop
Recorded inside the former Menzel factory: brushes on canvas, the building, a detuned felt piano, conversations between artists. The piano sits sixteen cents below concert pitch. Rather than correct it, the whole work was tuned down to meet it : the building’s tuning instead of the conservatory’s. The hall’s four-second reverberation is the structure. Voices are resynthesised until speech becomes harmony.
Widely panned. No two listeners hear the same piece. by @cmc.studio.berlin

“THE VIEWS”

Some angles are flattering, whilst others are far from. The pictures here capture 2 of my best sides. The beauty of seeing me perform is you catch all of me, in one place, and a full person it hopefully presents to you. One who is into stagecraft, laser-focused with broken thoughts, sketchy asides, testy theories, moments of magic, whimsy, sadness, anger, indignation, goof, stupidity and etceteras, aplenty.
Plus, I rotate, I twist & turn, I go backwards, I go forwards, I bow, I slide, I cower, I laugh, I come close to crying, or falling, or both.
& yes, I’ll continue to seek out clemency for my many slights. Atonement for the dumb shit I’ve done. But I won’t live in fear of what people think of me. I know that if they gave me half a chance, I could at least show them I kinda agree. With some of it. Not most. But I also agree with my champions and God, who declare, we are just human beings.

#nakedreviewsbyncube

If you have time, come catch some of our most flattering sides on Friday, the 18th of September, from 4 PM till late @cmc.studio.berlin

After sunset, I’ll bless you with a teaser / preview performance of my DONNA LANGLEY musical. On skates, if God allows it.

PS: I know we all wish we are exactly the best things people say about us. But the reality is we are on a spectrum. We just hope we don’t slip up too much! Or slide to our worst tendencies.
This retrospective show I’m doing is allowing me to reflect on my career / life. It’s not always been rosy and my lows have been bruising, I appreciate the shared lessons in heartbreak. 💔 + 💔 + 💔 = 🫣
But don’t let that stop you from trying to grow. by @cmc.studio.berlin
