Hundreds of hours of Style Class, thousands of DMs, somehow less than a day in real life and one beautiful friendship. Keturah was my entry point to Tibi. Seeing the clothes on a body I could relate to got me interested and her warm guidance and fire styling kept me on board! If you’ve had the honor of meeting Keturah on one of her many, many trips or just chatting on Zoom you already know. Happily @keturah.tbd has launched her own business and if you’ve ever consumed content or purchased from another brand and thought “Wow, they could do x better” now is your chance to introduce our queen! It’s been a treat to collaborate with Nicole of Shop Gushi Studio to share several pieces of my grandmother Betty’s jewelry that have not seen the light of day in too long! I was inspired by how Nicole creates original works with stories behind them, and thought she might be able to upcycle some of these pieces. Instead, she restored each one, identified the stones, and wrote evocative descriptions along with lovely photos. Quick tryonathon at my favorite Portland shop @francesmayshop. They stock a tight edit of Tibi pieces along with Studio Nicholson, Rachel Comey and others that work well for our PNW weather!
