🌎💚 October 10 is World Mental Health Day.

The 2026 theme, “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,” reminds us that meaningful change starts by listening to the people who have lived it.

Lived experience brings valuable insight, challenges stigma, and helps shape mental health supports that are more compassionate, inclusive, and responsive to what people actually need.

At CMHA Wood Buffalo, we believe every voice matters. By creating space for people to share their experiences and be truly heard, we can build stronger supports, stronger communities, and a future where mental health care is shaped alongside the people it serves.

Real voices. Real experiences. Real change.
