From September 8 to 23, 2026, RDAI and Creative Matters are pleased to present their joint exhibition, Zoometry, a collection of rugs born from the convergence of their savoir-faire.
The collection highlights the geometry of the animal world through the exploration of some of its iconic forms.
The exhibition offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process through a video triptych created specifically for the exhibition by director Gwenaël Lewis.

Du 8 au 23 septembre 2026, RDAI et Créative Matters ont le plaisir de présenter leur exposition commune Zoometry, une collection de tapis née de l’union de leur savoir-faire.
La collection met en avant la géométrie du monde animal, à travers l’étude de certaines de ses formes emblématiques.
Les coulisses de la création sont dévoilées lors de l’exposition par un triptyque vidéo conçu spécialement pour l’exposition par le réalisateur Gwenaël Lewis.

Textile design studio @cmi_design and architecture firm @rdai_ensemble present a new collaborative rug exhibition at Mouvement Modernes Gallery during Paris Design Week.

For the architects at Paris-based RDAI, nature holds just as many questions as it does answers.

Using 3D and parametric tools, they looked to some of Earth’s smallest and most intricate organisms – spiders, butterflies and coral – to interpret nature’s hidden geometries. 🕸️🦋🪸

After modelling the patterns of spider webs, butterfly wings and corals, they passed on the abstracted images to long-time collaborators, Toronto-based textile design studio Creative Matters, which worked with a collective of master artisans in Nepal to transform these natural structures into vast and delicate woven landscapes.

The result is Zoometry, a collection of six rug designs that mesh RDAI’s architectural know-how with Creative Matters’ understanding of material and colour and the painstaking craftsmanship of the weavers.
