Preparing for a New School Year at CEM! 📚

Over the summer, our teachers participated in professional development sessions designed to strengthen their skills and better equip them for the year ahead.

This week, our CEM team was back on campus, preparing classrooms, organizing materials, and getting everything ready to welcome our students back.

We’re grateful for the dedication of our team and excited for a new year of learning and growth at CEM!

A Milestone Worth Celebrating!

We are proud to share that our school in Haiti, Centre d’Études de Mornet (CEM), is officially licensed!

This important milestone marks another significant step in CEM’s journey and reflects the years of vision, perseverance, dedication, and hard work that have gone into building a school committed to providing quality education and greater opportunities for children in rural Haiti.

What began as a vision continues to grow; one child, one classroom, and one step forward at a time.

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, donors, partners, friends, staff, and everyone who continues to believe in and support the mission of House of New Vision and Hope.

Today, we celebrate how far we’ve come and look forward with hope to all that is still ahead.

Fighting illiteracy - one child at a time.

More moments from our students’ booths at
Centre d’Études de Mornet (CEM) 🇭🇹

Each presentation reflected their dedication, creativity, and teamwork.

From research to display, they took pride in representing their departments and sharing what they learned.

We were truly delighted as some of us joined our students at Centre d’Études de Mornet (CEM) last weekend for their very first:
Foire Agricole, Culturelle et d’Orientation Professionnelle
(Agricultural, Cultural, and Career Fair) 🇭🇹

It was a surprise visit, and the joy on their faces said everything. ❤️

Our students proudly represented the 10 departments of Haiti, along with the diaspora.

Through weeks of preparation, they researched, created, and presented:
🌱 agricultural products
🎭 cultural traditions
📍 geography and localisation
💼 careers and future opportunities

Each booth reflected their hard work, creativity, and pride in their country.

They didn’t just present; they learned, collaborated, and grew.

Our Reading Nook / Library is officially open! 📚

What began as a holiday campaign to collect books for our students at CEM has become a beautiful space for reading, learning, and growth.

Thanks to your generosity, our students now have books, games, and a special place to enjoy together.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and supported this project. You made this possible. ❤️
