Happy 13th Birthday to my beautiful and fierce girl! 💕🎂

Those who truly know you know that when you do something, you give it everything you’ve got. You have always have such a genuine heart for loving and serving others, and I think that’s one of the reasons you naturally love being around kids.

Somehow, God blessed you with a confidence at such a young age that many people spend their entire lives trying to find. And I truly believe He placed that confidence in you for a reason. I believe He has created you to be a leader and that there is something BIG ahead for your life. I can’t wait to watch you discover it, walk boldly in it, and use the gifts He has given you to make a difference.

You also have this incredible ability to pick up almost any sport and quickly become good at it! 😂 I believe so much of that comes from your desire for excellence, your humility, and your willingness to be accountable and keep learning.

I love you for everything that you are and everything you are becoming. I pray today you feel celebrated, cherished, and deeply loved—not just because it’s your birthday, but because you are such a gift to our family.

I know you had to go to school today, but I also know you’re pretty excited about your FIRST middle school volleyball game and your going to kill at it! 🏐 Im so proud of you baby girl!

We drove 9 hours to Big Bend on Thursday and set up our campsite during the sunset. We picked the most beautiful area, rifht next to the rio grand. Once there we realized we forgot some items and had to improvise 😳, who knew sticks could become cooking utensils 🤷‍♀️.

On Friday we hiked 2 beautiful trails and walked over 3500 steps that day, we were beyond tired and even slept for 10 hours. We also froze our tush 🥶since weather in the dessert can drop 40 degrees in one day.

Saturday we tore down and packed up our campsite and went out for another hike, this time we were a little stiffer since almost every muscle 💪🏼 in out body hurt bit we found the most beautiful cavern. Shortly after we ate lunch, shopped for souvenirs and learned the history of the towns before heading back to pick up our kids.

The kids were on Spring break with their grandparents for the week and we were ready to see them again!!! What I took from this trip is that I LOVEEEE Spending Time with you!! You are the love of my life and every adventure we take is priceless. This is my best memory so far and I cant wait for the next one. Happy Birthday Beautiful, you are 12 today!!

Mia you are a fierce young lady who has always known what she wanted in life. I pray as you grow older and start to experience more of the world that you clinge closer to God because he gives you your true identity!!

You are a natural born leader and athlete and I know you will go far in life with all your hard work and dedication. Your joy and laugh is infectious and lights up a room. Continue to build those up around you for your words are so powerful.

My mom use to always tell me that time goes by so fast! I didn’t believe her when I was a teenager but now that my mom no longer is here on earth and my kids are growing like weeds I do….
Cheers for another year of growth for my 1st, 6th and 10th grader. I love you deeply and as you grow, so does my love for you.

We had visitors last night!!! Mia and Ryder’s bestie came to visit after being in Colorado for 8 months. We love this whole family and miss seeing them!

Our family of choice joined us for a trip to Kalahari, celebrating a significant milestone: our boys' sixth birthday. The experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend the venue. Expect numerous memories to be made which ultimately bring back a childlike heart. 😜 by @cmorris0713

Wow, hear how this UK priest cautions America from repeating their mistakes, emphasizing the importance of keeping Jesus Christ in our schools, the judicial system, and everyday life. As well as aknowledging and appreciating our first amendment, freedom of speech.

The election is this Tuesday Nov 5th. I urge you, if you havent already, to make it a point to go vote. We have an obligation to ourselves, our family and generations to come to protect our nation. by @cmorris0713

We attended another Gala this weekend but this one was to support Bring the Light Ministries in Dallas, Tx. This ministry supports the homeless population by bringing food, clothing and even housing to those less fortunate.
