We know Jimothy, the adorable pig-shaped raccoon, has stolen our hearts... but can our team's pig drawings give him a little competition?

As we gear up for Year 2 of the Protect the Pigs campaign with USDA, our team recently came together to brainstorm new ideas and continue raising awareness about African swine fever and the threat it poses. To kick things off, we held a fun icebreaker: a pig drawing contest!

So, tell us... do any of these have what it takes to be Jimothy's successor? 👀

Stay tuned for more from this important campaign. cmrignite.com by @cmrignite

We’re officially less than a month away from gospel music’s greatest night—the Stellar Awards.

Honoring the greatest gospel musical acts of 2026, we’re proud to have partnered with the Stellar Awards to help promote this year’s event taking place in Charlotte.

Our team has supported the campaign across out-of-home placements, radio, and social media to reach music lovers and drive ticket sales across the region.

We can’t wait to see what this year’s celebration has in store on August 15. by @cmrignite

Recent news has highlighted upcoming changes to Medicaid work requirements.

Beginning January 1, 2027, new federal rules will require many Medicaid enrollees ages 19–55 to work or participate in qualifying activities for at least 80 hours per month to maintain coverage, unless they qualify for an exemption.

For communicators, the challenge goes beyond simply raising awareness.

Helping eligible individuals understand what the requirements are, whether they qualify for an exemption, and the steps they need to take is critical to ensuring they can successfully maintain their coverage. That's where behavioral engagement makes a difference. Clear, easy-to-understand language, timely

reminders, culturally relevant messaging, multilingual communications, and reducing confusion around paperwork can all help people navigate these changes with confidence.

Social listening is a critical part of developing an effective social media strategy.

But in the behavior change space, it's rarely as simple as typing a few keywords into a listening platform. The topics we research are often highly specific, and the language people use doesn't always match the terms we expect. That means we have to think beyond the search bar.

Sometimes that means reworking keywords, adjusting filters, manually searching Reddit and Facebook groups, reading article comment sections, or following conversations across platforms. Whatever it takes to uncover the insights that help us better understand our audiences, identify information gaps, and shape stronger campaign messaging.

Just because a listening tool returns limited results doesn't mean the conversation isn't happening. It may simply be happening somewhere else, or people may be using different words to describe the same experience.

Influencers—they're just like us.

But that's exactly the point.

Influencers are effective because they're relatable. Audiences see themselves in them. When creators share a challenge, an experience, or something they genuinely enjoy, it feels authentic and people are more likely to pay attention.

That's where brands and organizations have an opportunity to connect.

Our influencer work with the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) showed just how powerful that can be. Throughout the year, we partnered with a diverse group of creators to encourage people to choose CTA as an affordable, convenient way to get around the city.

We partnered with creators across a variety of niches, including food, fashion, lifestyle, events, and local culture, each with their own unique audience and community. The common thread? People saw someone they could relate to. When audiences see someone like themselves taking the train, exploring the city, or sharing a positive experience, it becomes easier to imagine themselves doing the same.

Leading campaigns through audience-first, behavior change strategies is what we do best.

Our longtime partner, Wisconsin WIC, recently celebrated National Nutrition Month while also launching updated food packages for participants. Big updates like these require the right strategy to ensure audiences feel informed, supported, and ready to use their new benefits.

So how did we approach it?

We translated complex food package updates into clear, easy-to-understand messaging through carousel posts and strong visuals designed to simplify information. We also collaborated with WIC staff to create reels that
brought a more personal, trustworthy, and relatable voice to the campaign.

And because questions are a natural part of any change, our team continues to actively monitor both organic and paid content to help answer questions and support the community in real time.

At the end of the day, the goal is simple: make sure audiences have the information they need to confidently make the most of their benefits.

A successful social media strategy starts with understanding where audiences spend their time and how they engage on each platform.

For our longtime client Wisconsin WIC, Instagram and Facebook help build community through educational reels, practical tips, and shareable content. For Chicago Transit Authority, TikTok influencers and Instagram content help connect with younger audiences through relatable videos that position public transit as part of everyday life. Combined with paid media support, these strategies help expand reach and drive meaningful engagement.

Effective social content also needs to feel native to the platform. From carousels to voiceover reels and caption-first videos, we create content designed around how audiences actually consume content online. We also prioritize visuals and messaging that reflect the communities we serve so audiences feel represented, connected, and understood.

May flowers aren’t the only things in bloom, we’ve got new projects growing too. 🌸One we’re especially excited about: the Charlotte Youth Violence Prevention Campaign.

This initiative empowers middle and high school students to choose peace and avoid violence by putting their voices at the center. Through a selection of youth ambassadors, we’re partnering directly with young people to shape the look, tone, and messaging of the campaign so it truly resonates with their peers.

We’re proud to continue collaborating with the youth board and can’t wait to see what we build together.

Back in March, we partnered with Chicago creators to highlight CTA as the most convenient and affordable way to experience the annual St. Patrick’s Day River Dyeing event. 🍀

Influencers bring authenticity in a way traditional content can’t, capturing real moments, real commutes, and real experiences. Through a POV lens, they showed what it’s actually like to navigate the city using CTA, whether hopping on a bus or catching a train, making it feel seamless and part of everyday life.

Alongside other campaign efforts, CTA saw great success, with 996.2K riders that day.
