They gave your cousin the mic! 😂🎤💛

Saturday I hosted the Ms. Full-Figured USA NCR Preliminary Show. Our theme was “Golden Hour,” so the whole NCR came through in gold. ✨

This opportunity meant a lot to me because bringing people together is already such a big part of what I love to do. I think about how people feel in a room, what helps them loosen up, and what they’ll remember when they leave. Getting to bring my voice and personality into that experience as the host felt like another part of my creativity finding somewhere to play.

And apparently this new role comes with cute dress and a microphone. I can work with that. 🤭

Thank you to my NCR family for trusting me with this moment. 💛

Consider this my official “oh yeah, I host too” announcement! 🎤 Now open for hosting bookings. If you want your cousin on the mic at your next event, let’s talk. 💌

And just like that… the Miss Full Figured chapter comes to a close. 👑✨

What a beautiful experience. I’m so grateful for every lesson, every memory, every person who showed up for me, and every person who reminded me that I belonged on that stage. ❤️

A special thank you to my makeup artist 👩‍🎨 @sjm__studios for bringing my vision to life and absolutely EATING every look! 💄✨ You understood the assignment every single time.

To my mama @hairdivaandplusmodel thank you for every outfit, every detail, and for always believing in my vision. I couldn’t have done it without you. ❤️

And to my family, friends, and everyone who came out, supported me, checked on me, reposted me, encouraged me, or simply said a prayer for me — I felt every bit of it. 🥹❤️

The amount of people who came up to me afterward telling me I did my BIG ONE on that stage will forever be one of my favorite parts of this experience. 😂👑 And honestly… I felt it too.

To the people who didn’t support me — thank you too. You reminded me that I don’t need everyone to believe in me. I just need to believe in myself. ✨

This was only one chapter. Next stop: Miss USA Maryland. 🇺🇸👑

Thank you, Miss Full Figured, for a lovely time. Until the next crown… 💋✨ photo credits @cmsonicc1 @drewstephens_productions

Your cousin had her official Ambassador walk family 🥹👑💛

Sunday, I stepped onto the runway as the FIRST-ever Ms. Full-Figured USA NCR Ambassador, and that smile tells you exactly how it felt.

After all the preparation and all the hats I wore this weekend, having this moment was so special. Crown on, sash in place, and a whole lot to be grateful for.

Congratulations to our newly crowned queens and every delegate who stepped onto that stage. Getting to support you, cheer you on, and share this weekend with you has been such a joy.

More of the weekend to come, but today I’m letting this moment have its moment. 💛

We Are NCR. 👑

Every color had a purpose. ❤️💛🧡

My pageant theme was the Phoenix Rising from the Ashes.

After losing my Mom, there was a time when I felt defeated and lost. I had to recenter myself, pour back into Bateya and learn how to rise again.

Just like the phoenix, I was once down… but now, I get to soar. 🔥

❤️ Red — strength and courage
💛 Yellow — hope and light
🧡 Orange — transformation and new beginnings

These weren’t just colors I wore on stage. They represented my journey.

I didn’t just choose a color story. I lived it.

🔥 From the ashes, I rise. #ItsGivingLooks #MsFullFiguredNCR #TheExquisiteEra #MsCongeniality #HeartOfNCR MsExquisite1stRunnerUp 💛💛💛💛💛💛 by @cmsonicc1
