🏌🏾🏌🏾 Shout out to the men who help make our annual women’s golf tournament, Queens of the Green, a success!
.
Each year, male golfers show up to support our Queens. Each foursome is paired with a golf guide who helps them navigate the course, shows them how to swing, and helps them select the appropriate golf club. We have been grateful to have the support from Mr. Willie Holmes and the New Haven Knickerbocker Club every year!!!
.
As volunteers, all golf guides also receive free entry to the networking luncheon!
.
This year, we were honored to have New Haven’s @mayorjustinmelicker speak at the luncheon.
.
Fellas, are you interested in being a golf guide? Comment or DM us to join us next year at Queens of the Green!

❤️🤍 We are so incredibly thankful to all of our sponsors of the 6th annual women’s entry-level golf tournament, Queens of the Green!
.
@fawnluuv, owner of @mfonogbeborstatefarmagency, began learning golf last year, and has since fallen in love with the game. She was eager and proud to support QOTG, which provides access for Black and minority to experience golf.
.
Tax deductible sponsorships are still being accepted online. Proceeds from the tournament provide a tuition scholarship for Black or brown student in a STEM field.
