Congrats to CNU MAT alums Nathan Cabello and Chloe Collins for receiving Teacher of the Year awards! 🎉

Cabello graduated from our MAT Program in 2017 and was awarded the 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year at Dutrow Elementary in April.

Collins graduated from our MAT Program in 2021 and was named Riverside Elementary’s Teacher of the Year in spring 2026.

Six graduates of our Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program have been recognized as Teachers of the Year!

Congratulations to our very own @clark.levine for his recognition as the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) 2026 Outstanding Elementary School New Teacher! 🎉🎉

Congratulations to Taylor Brooke who received the Initial Licensure Scholarship from the Virginia Association of Colleges and Teacher Educators (VACTE). Taylor was one of only four students in the state to be chosen for this prestigious award.
