How has it been a year since I was in Portland?! I miss the city so dearly. Today I’m wishing a happy birthday to my favorite tattoo from Birdhouse and reminding myself that “whatever happens, happens.” by @cnuwer

SDCC 2026! Got to hug Octo & chill with Rascal Randy, so I was in good hands ❤️‍🔥👀

So lovely to see friends and meet new comic folks, despite not having a voice right now 😆 already having con withdrawal on the way home! by @cnuwer

How are we halfway through 2026?! These are some of my favorite snaps from the first part of this year ✨💖 by @cnuwer

The loss still stings no matter how long it’s been or how complicated it was. It’s a day after my brother’s bday - he passed four and a half years ago after a long fight with addiction. This photo reminds me of simpler, brighter days just playing make pretend and never growing up.

Thanks @patloika for taking the best headshots of me! by @cnuwer

Last night, I was lucky enough to see @orchidquartet beautifully performing Joe Hisaishi‘s scores as part of the @candlelight.concerts. It was incredibly moving as a longtime fan of the composer and of Studio Ghibli. Thanks @m0nster_m0 for taking me!! by @cnuwer

2025 was a chaotic and traumatic year, but I look back and I also see amazing happy memories with friends and colleagues that brings me joy. This year was transformative for me, and I spent a lot of time struggling to find myself again after intense loss, but I was lucky enough to be surrounded by a family and friend circle of amazing people that supported me through it. Thank you to @_ben_abernathy_ , @juneandjonas, and @sarahcorrinejones for offering me shelters in the metaphorical storm. Cheers to all and let’s kick some ass in 2026 🥂 by @cnuwer

I’m very ready to exchange heat waves for a crisp fall, but I’m sad to say goodbye to Rose City for now. I’m returning to LA, but with rose-tinted lenses, and even weirder than I used to be. I’ll be back amidst the palm trees this week. Till next time, Portland ❤️‍🔥
