Di awal tahun 2026, @bbbbookclub mengadakan rangkaian kegiatan fellowship Politics and Policy Literacy for Mothers yang diikuti 10 Buibu Climate Leaders (BCLs). Masing-masing BCLs menyelesaikan proses belajar mereka dengan membuat capstone project terkait isu iklim bersama komunitas masing-masing 🍃🌏

Dari sesi ini, banyak sekali yang dapat dipelajari terkait komunitas akar rumput, peran perempuan, terutama ibu, dalam krisis iklim, kendala-kendala yang dihadapi, dan kepemimpinan perempuan, terutama dalam gerakan berbasis komunitas. Takeaways inilah yang kemudian dipresentasikan di 'Women in Leadership: Accelerating Development Outcomes' sebuah konferensi yang diselenggarakan oleh The World Bank, The Gates Foundation dan London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) pada 10 - 11 September 2026 lalu.

Jumat nanti, Puty Puar (@byputy , Founder dan Executive Director BBB Book Club) akan membagikan pengalaman dan hasil belajar yang didapatkan dari menjalankan PPLM dan menghadiri konferensi. Catat tanggalnya dan segera datarkan dirimu!

What crosses your mind when you hear "solar panels"? 🌞⚡️

Even with year-round sunshine, solar energy is still new to many of us. To bridge that gap, we collaborated with @livinglovingnet to chat with @kafipangestu (principal architect at @serasa.architect ) and @deniaisetianti (founder of @cleanomic and homeowner @minisponsiblehouse). Together, we covered the basics of having a greener home, building the energy-saving habit at home, what to consider before installing solar panel at home, and real-life experiences of using solar panel.

Renewable energy isn't a sole responsibility of homeowners, though. So at the end, we asked our event participants; what kind of government support would make the transition easier for everyone? 🤔🌞

The gap between massive potential and everyday reality usually comes down to how mainstream the topic is in our daily life. Energy, despite being an essential part in our life, often gets labeled as too complex for daily conversation.

Through this co-creation campaign, we’re bridging that gap through easy, fun activities while connecting the topic to everyday issues we all face.

Reading culture is having a major moment right now. It’s now easier to join a book club, find a book review, and even participate in a giveaway for a free book. Social media surely helps spread the information, and this is what @bbbbookclub found on their survey back in 2021. Four years later, it’s still relevant.
