Warm Up Drill ⚽️👊🏼

-

Coaching Tips:
1. Encourage your players to call for the ball
2. Scan inside shoulder when dropping to receive
3. Call hold to allow your feet to get into position
4. Trap the ball against the ground to flatten the touch
5. Chip the ball with the inside of the big toe to pop it up.

Good Luck & Enjoy The Drill 🤝⚽️

Why is scanning important?👀

-

Scanning before receiving the ball allows you to:

• Know what’s around you
• Find space before the ball arrives
• Recognise pressure
• Take your first touch with purpose
• Make quicker, better decisions

Scan → Receive → Play 🧠⚽️

The best players don’t just react when they receive the ball, they’ve already seen the picture before it arrives.
