Did you catch this? 👀

During Halloween, Dave breaks a string and calmly swaps guitars without missing a beat. It’s one of those little moments that reminds you just how experienced this band is.

Thanks to @eriksaar Senior @coach.dmb Contributor for capturing it!

Did you notice the exchange in real time?

Standing by the ocean, “Big Eyed Fish” hits a little differently. 🌊🐟

The fish spends its life dreaming about being something else—until it finally reaches “the other side” and realizes too late that it was exactly where it belonged.

That’s the lesson: we can become so focused on somebody else’s life, success, relationship, job, or happiness that we stop appreciating our own.

Stop comparing. Enjoy what you’ve got. ❤️

What’s one thing in your life you need to appreciate a little more today?

Continuing the DMB Spoken Word series… and this might be the darkest one yet. 😳🔥

“Now as I rest my feet by this fire…”

That whole section of Don’t Drink the Water is chilling because the narrator is not sorry. He is comfortable. He has taken the land, pushed people out, and is basically saying he can finally “sleep more soundly” because everyone else is gone.

Then comes the coldest line:

“I’ll build heaven and call it home ’cause you’re all dead now.”

Dave was not playing around with this one.

What DMB lyric feels like a full movie scene in just a few lines?

You know the melody. Give the words a moment. 🎧🍂

“Granny” joins the Coach DMB Spoken Word Series—a chance to slow down and listen a little closer.

🎙️ DMB SPOKEN WORD: “SQUIRM”

Take away the guitar.
Take away the drums.
Take away the crowd.

Now…just listen to the WORDS. 👀

Sometimes a Dave Matthews Band song you’ve heard countless times feels completely different when the music disappears.

This time, I’m taking on “Squirm.”

🔥 Does hearing the lyrics as spoken word change the way YOU hear this song?

Tell me what you hear 👇

DMB QUESTION OF THE DAY 🎶

We all know DMB is a completely different experience live. But I’m taking it one step further…

What’s ONE Dave Matthews Band song where the LIVE version is WAY better than the studio version?

Not just a little better. I’m talking about a song where once you’ve heard what DMB does with it live, you almost never want to go back to the studio version.

Maybe it’s the extended jam.
Maybe it’s the crowd.
Maybe it’s how the song has evolved over the years.
Maybe the live version just has an energy the studio recording could never capture.

🎸 You only get ONE. What’s your pick?

I’ve got mine… 👀

What a DMB weekend — even Mother Nature got involved. 🌧️🎶

The weekend was originally supposed to start Friday night with Dave Matthews Band at Oceans Calling in Ocean City, Maryland, but severe weather forced the cancellation.

Saturday, the music finally got started with Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds at Farm Aid in Virginia Beach — a short but memorable 7-song set featuring some special guests, including I’m With Her on “Papertown” and Jake Simpson joining Dave & Tim for “Crush” and “Ants Marching.”

Then Sunday night it was back to the FULL BAND at Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville. DMB delivered a festival-heavy set that included the classic So Much to Say → Anyone Seen the Bridge → Too Much run before Jake Simpson joined the band for the final stretch of the show — from “Jimi Thing” all the way through “Ants Marching.”

Three scheduled appearances.
🌧️ One canceled by Mother Nature.
🎸 One Dave & Tim set.
🔥 One full-band DMB set.

And just like that, another DMB weekend is in the books.

Which performance — or song — would you most want to have been there for?

👀 LOOK CLOSE… can you find your sticker?

One of the coolest sights on the road to The Gorge isn’t even inside the venue. That exit sign has become a little snapshot of the DMB community—fans, trips, shows and memories all represented in one place.

And yep… Coach DMB made the sign for Gorge 2026! 🔥⭕️

Zoom in and tell me: Do you see your sticker?

How many times can you hear a song before you actually HEAR it?

That was “Long Black Veil” for me.

I’d always associated it with Johnny Cash, and I’ve heard DMB play it plenty of times — but once I finally sat down, read the lyrics and learned the story being told, the song completely changed for me.

A murder. An innocent man. An alibi he refuses to give. And a secret he literally takes to the grave.

Then at The Gorge, I met a fan whose own 18-year journey with this song gave me one more reason to tell this story.

Sometimes you’ve heard a song 100 times…and then one day, you finally hear it.

One of the best parts of The Gorge isn’t just the music… it’s the people you meet along the way. ❤️

Got to share this moment with two new friends, @jw_gallo and @Oatmeal 🐶🎧❤️🐕 (on TikTok) — and this pretty much sums up Labor Dave Weekend. 😂🙌

Come for Dave. Leave with a few more people in your DMB family.

Three nights at The Gorge and somehow it still never feels like enough.

Eh Hee to open. Dive In. The Last Stop. GOOD GOOD TIME.

Those were four of my favorite moments from an unbelievable Labor Dave Weekend 2026.

There’s just something different about hearing these songs surrounded by thousands of DMB fans with that incredible Gorge backdrop.

And yes… I was hoping for The Stone all weekend. 😂

We didn’t get it — which obviously means Dave is saving it for us next year.

What was the moment from these three nights that you’ll remember most?
