Fall semester is coming up and you know what that means: Walk-on tryouts! Every fall semester, our team holds open try-outs - no experience is needed, we will teach you all you need to know about rowing! This is a great opportunity to learn a new sport, and to join a competitive team of like-minded athletes building towards the conference championship.

Use the Walk-On Questionnaire link in our bio to connect with our coaches and begin the process of trying out in the fall!

Nine days, 24 1ks, and one *potential* alligator sighting later, we have officially finished our winter training trip in Sarasota, Florida! The team logged thousands of kilometers as a unit and gained valuable experience in bumpy spring-racing conditions. The team is heading back up to snowy Western Mass to begin the spring semester next week! taken in Nathan Benderson Park by @coach.gotsch

An exciting evening inducting new athletes into Chi Alpha Sigma and recognizing the graduating members! Athletes need to have maintained a 3.5 GPA, be a junior, and demonstrate excellence in their sport to earn membership. Congrats UMass! taken in University of Massachusetts Amherst by @coach.gotsch

What a season it was!
So proud of the work, commitment, and passion this team put into all aspects of the process this year, and so grateful for the athletes and coaches I’m surrounded by. Ended the season on a high with a well earned win in the second varsity four, which added to the team’s 5 boats, 5 medals A10 Championship. UMass jumped from third in the conference last year to second this year. Excited to see this momentum keep pushing our growth! U’s up! taken in University of Massachusetts Amherst by @coach.gotsch

Dear Winter training: you’ve given us so much! We’re stronger, braver, faster. It’s because of our time together, we know we’re ready to go out own way and take on the spring season 💪
