Be their biggest fan, not their biggest critic. 💯As the 2026 Pop Warner season gets underway, please try to remember these important items for the season:❌ There are no college coaches offering real, committable scholarships to anyone playing youth football.❌ There are no NFL scouts looking to draft your son to play nor you or your coaches to hire on staff. With that said:✅ Let them have fun and they will fall in love with the game.✅ Coach into them toughness, grit and resilience.✅ Show them what being good winners and better losers look like.✅ Teach them to respect their teammates, opponents, coaches, the officials and most importantly themselves.•••••••#YouthFootball #FridayNightLights #football #footballseason #coachlife by @coach.lo.lo

Don’t be THAT guy. 🤦🏽‍♂️Parents who have coddled their children, who don’t want them to feel failure or pain, or are projecting unfulfilled dreams of their own are the worst thing to happen to youth sports since the participation medal.Let the players play.Let the coaches coach.Let the referees ref. If you don’t like the calls, take the certification and become a coach. Or even better, a referee. That’s what I thought, so get back off the sideline, cheer for you kids whether they win or lose, and most importantly and respectfully, STFU. 💯🫱🏽‍🫲🏾•••••••#YouthFootball #FridayNightLights #football #footballseason #coachlife by @coach.lo.lo

A few clips from our last chapter meeting at @flemingssteakhouse! We strive to make our meetings as informative, exciting, and engaging as possible. Our agenda was jam packed! We presented our @yourpaf scholarship recipients.@bbbs_tampabay and @achievacreditunion showed up to talk about many encouraging things they are doing locally in the Tampa Bay community! @theperformancelab_tampa presented their offerings designed specifically for @nflpa_tampa members, and @christophernowinski had an extensive presentation about brain health which impacts current and former players alike! One of the hardest passes to catch. 💯Here’s why:▶️ Too open downfield.▶️ Too much time to think.▶️ Too easy that it becomes hard.This makes me think of the KISS principle:• Keep• It• Stupid• SimpleWrite it down. ✍🏽Coach them to focus on doing only one job at a time, before moving on to the next.
