Life has a way of testing your strength. It will knock you down, challenge your faith, and make you question yourself. But champions aren’t defined by how many times they fall—they’re defined by how many times they rise. Get back up, fight with everything you have, and never let life’s struggles write your story. Your comeback could be greater than your setback.

The last 3 months have been incredibly rewarding. Watching our team bring home a State Championship in basketball, Coaching 7v7, Placing 2nd in State for track, summer basketball season, and now getting back to the grind with football has been a true blessing.

As a coach, there’s nothing better than watching young men develop through hard work, commitment, and perseverance. The victories are special, but the relationships, lessons, and growth along the way mean even more.

I’m grateful for our players, coaches, families, and supporters who make it all possible. The past few months have been amazing, but I’m even more excited about what’s ahead. The work continues, and I believe God has great things in store for the months to come.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

Coaching is a blessing I don’t take lightly — it’s part of my purpose. 🤞🏿🖤
I pour passion into every lesson, every moment, every person I help grow.

And as for the noise, the negativity, the talk… I don’t hear it.
I’m too focused on purpose, progress, and positivity.

Building the mindset—one rep, one player, one win at a time. It’s more than drills and plays; it’s about discipline, confidence, and a love for the game. 🏀 Coaching isn’t about the scoreboard—it’s about who they become when the clock hits zero. And I’m always learning too. From the coaches around me and from life itself. You’re never too old or too young to drop your walls and accept wisdom. Growth starts with accountability, and you have to be willing to accept it as well! taken in Rossville Christian Academy by @coach.townsend

Already miss coaching football… every year I say “next year,” but this season hit different. 🖤🏈
From the early mornings practices,to the late-night talks, the grind, the lessons, the highs, the lows every bit of it meant something. This team didn’t just grow on the field, we grew as people. I saw leadership, heart, resilience, and brotherhood, and it reminded me why I love this game so much.

Grateful for every player who showed up and gave their all, every coach who stayed committed, every parent and supporter who believed in what we were building. You all poured into this season in ways that made it unforgettable. Thank you for making it truly special.

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1

Already looking forward to what’s next. God’s timing, God’s plan and I’m here for it. 🙏🏾🏈♾️ taken in Rossville Christian Academy by @coach.townsend
