A month ago tomorrow (depending on the time zone) my world was turned completely upside down. I got the text telling me that my Grandma had gone to be with the Lord. I know they say that grief comes in stages but I don’t know if I will ever get past the stage of denial. The fact that I can’t call my grandmother and hear her say “hey baby” or see her smile is beyond me. The amount of hurt that my family and I feel is beyond words. Selfishly I wish she was still here but I know that she is in a much better place than here and reunited with her family and friends watching over us. Happy Heavenly birthday Grandma.
