The Capoeira Clinic 2026 is in the books, and first I have to give Gugu Quilombola his flowers. He came here and GAVE. His time, his energy, his knowledge and his Capoeira. From Jogo de Dentro and Vadiação to musicalidade, he took simple concepts and showed us just how deep they can go. There’s science behind what he does, but there’s also heart. You can tell this man genuinely LOVES Capoeira, and that came through in everything he shared. Much respect, Gugu. 🙏🏾

And to everyone who came out, THANK YOU. You didn’t just attend a clinic. You invested in your Capoeira. You trained, listened, asked questions, played and explored. We actually went past our scheduled hours because everybody was locked in. 😂 That says everything about the people in that room and the energy we created together.

I couldn’t be happier with how this weekend turned out. This is exactly what the Capoeira Clinic was meant to be: good people, serious knowledge, different perspectives and a genuine love for Capoeira.

Gugu crushed it. You guys crushed it. The clinic was a success. AXÉ! 🙏🏾🔥

🇧🇷 𝗩𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗔𝗖̧𝗔̃𝗢 𝗜𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚...

Ever notice how the best conversations in Capoeira happen after the roda? 😏

"Cara... did you see that game?"

That's vadiação. The laughs. The malícia.
The conversation without words. The moments that make you fall in love with Capoeira all over again.

This Labor Day Weekend we're getting together with 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗴𝘂 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗮 for three days dedicated to 𝗝𝗼𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗰̧𝗮̃𝗼—exploring the playful side of the game through movement, music, strategy, connection, and, of course... plenty of good rodas.

📅 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰–𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
📍 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲, 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮

Whether you're from Florida or flying in, come train, laugh, play, reconnect with old friends, and make a few new ones.

🔥 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗜𝗥𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡!
Don't wait until your training partners text you...
"Bro... you should've come." 😂

🎟 Register here:

Tag your mestre.
Tag your professor.
Tag that friend who says they're coming to everything... and never does. 😅

See you in the roda. 🥁🪘🇧🇷
