Fortune 500 coach + mom of 2
For CEO & executive moms
Find the 7 hours you are quietly losing and become a magnetic mom leader
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
One of the traps of being a very capable executive mom is that eventually, everything starts routing through you — at work and at home.

At work, you become the go-to person for problems that should have been handled a level below.

At home, you’re the one remembering the soccer cleats, cheer uniform, snacks, pickups, forms, rides… all of it.

And in your relationships, you can become the emotional shock absorber - the “safe space” everyone comes to.

Because you can handle it, it can take a long time to notice that capability has quietly turned into a system everyone depends on.

This is so much of the work I do with executive moms.

Not helping them become more productive at carrying everything.

Helping them change the identity, behaviors and systems that made them the person carrying it in the first place.

I’ve been putting some of that work into a simple practice:

SEE → ENVISION → RETURN → EMPOWER → RECEIVE

👀 See what you’re actually carrying.
✨ Envision the mother and leader you want to be.
👉 Return responsibility that isn’t yours.
🔥 Empower other people to own, solve and grow.
🤲 Receive the support that is already there — or that you need to ask for.

The goal isn’t to become less caring or less capable.

It’s to stop being the system so you can actually lead the system.

I put some of the questions I use with clients into this carousel.

Save it and come back to the ones that make you a little uncomfortable.

Those are usually the interesting ones. 🤍

Pickup time changed. I saw it mid-sentence with a potential client — the kind of high-end engagement that takes months to close — and kept going. My eyes darted to the side of the screen and back. Nothing to see here.

That's the job nobody sees. Staying fully present for one thing while another quietly asks something of you too.

I used to apologize on both ends. Sorry to my client for being distracted. Sorry at home for being unavailable. Now I just ask for patience and grace, once, and let that be enough.

By evening, my eyes were watering on their own, my eyeliner running down the side of my face. I looked like I was either crying or fighting off allergies. I was doing neither. I was just tired.

Executive visibility is a weight. Being a mother is a weight. I've carried both long enough to know neither gets lighter just because you're good at hiding the strain.

I don't believe we're meant to carry this alone. If you're carrying both — the visible one and the one nobody sees — I see you. My DMs are open. Tell me where it landed.

The workbook took minutes to build. It took her five hours to trust it.

A client had her analyst build a workbook with AI. Then she spent five hours checking every number — and found a hallucination buried in it.

Minutes to build. Five hours to verify.

That same week, her 8-year-old pushed back at home, waiting for Mom to step in and handle it.

Same pattern, two different rooms. When we don't hand responsibility back, we don't just lose time — we rob people of the reps they need to build judgment.

BCG's AI at Work 2026 report says it well: strategy matters more than tools. The tool was never the problem. Trust was.

This is the Power of Returning Responsibility: giving the work — and the judgment that grows from doing it — back to the person it belongs to.

Those five hours of checking? Exactly the kind of hours I'm writing the guide about.

I'm putting the finishing touches on *The 7 Hours Executive Moms Are Quietly Losing Every Week*. DM me READY and you'll be the first to get it.

They don't look like women who need help. That's the point.

Two executive moms. Two private sessions. One month.

Each of them running teams, running homes, running on fumes — and still making it all look effortless.

We worked on The Power of Returning Responsibility. Not delegating as a tactic. Returning what's not yours to carry as a way of leading.

Because the higher you climb, the heavier the invisible load gets. And nobody hands you a manual for putting it down.

Something new is coming for the moms ready to find the 7 hours they're quietly losing each week — and get them back.

DM me READY and you'll hear about it first.

She said it like a secret.

"The older I get, the less I want to get promoted. I just want to breathe. Keep my career. Keep the moments with my kids I'll never get back."

She's a VP. SVP. EVP.

And someone already told her to zoom out. See the big picture. Speak from a higher level.

Delegate more. Skill up the team. Just get it to 80%.

But she's not confused about strategy.

She's back-to-back in meetings. The 20 minutes she isn't, she's closing loops on Teams.

Dispatching kids to carpools between calls.

Laptop open again after 9pm — "just cleaning up my inbox."

She's tired of pretending that what really matters has to be traded for what the job tells her should want.

She already knows what she wants.

She's just done hiding it. by @coachamelia

You close a P&L at work. You run the school pickup line at home. Most people only do one of those well. You do both.

Nobody put "fifteen calendar subscriptions" on your job description. Nobody put "team dinner moved twice" or "board deck finished between drop-off and a call with Europe" on it either. And yet here you are, doing both, fully, every single day.

So today, this is me thanking you. You're doing an extraordinary thing and making it look ordinary, and you deserve to hear that more than once a year.

Swipe through. Tell me which one you needed today.

Summer has a way of revealing whether the current structure of your life actually works.

Not because you’re doing anything wrong.

But because the invisible load increases:

more logistics, more coordination, more shifting priorities.

That’s why I’m hosting the Executive Calendar Audit: Summer Edition 🌞

A live working session for CEO & Executive Moms focused on creating more clarity, ownership, and space before summer fully hits.

If you’ve been feeling the calendar getting tighter already… this session is for you.

Details in the graphic below ⬇️ DM me summer for invite 🏖️ by @coachamelia

This is for the CEO & Executive moms who are already looking at June and realizing the current structure won’t hold.

Read what she said. ☝️

That’s exactly what this work looks like.

Not becoming more productive.
Not squeezing more into the calendar.

Creating clearer systems, stronger ownership, and a way of operating that doesn’t keep you in constant reaction mode.

That’s why I’m bringing a small group together before summer fully hits.

Executive Calendar Audit: Summer Edition
May 19th • 10–11am PT

A live working session — not a webinar — where we’ll work through:

→ priorities
→ ownership
→ calendar design
→ decision fatigue
→ creating space without dropping what matters most

Comment or DM me “SUMMER” and I’ll send the details. by @coachamelia

A bird cannot soar and grip the branch at the same time.

I've been thinking about how much I carry that I was never meant to carry alone.

The mental load. The calendar. The vision for the household. The team. The plan that only works if I'm at the center of it.

We grip because at some point, letting go cost us something.

But the branch was never the destination.

If you're ready to figure out what to release — and actually hand it over without it costing you more than it's worth — I'm holding an Executive Calendar Audit for CEO & Executive Moms on May 19th.

Reply AUDIT and I'll send you the details. by @coachamelia

When the structure disappears, most people reach for a better routine.

You don’t need a perfect morning routine.
You need a compass.

After the Bahá’í Fast ended, I thought I’d feel clear and energized again.

Instead… I felt off.

Even sitting down to a meal I’d been thinking about all day, something didn’t land. And it *wasn't* the kabob.

Just… a little disoriented.

And I could feel the pull to “get back on track.”
Plan everything. Catch up. Reset perfectly.

But instead -

I took 15 minutes.

To sit.
To pray.
To think about the day.

Not to plan everything.
Just to anchor.

I kept what was working:
• simple agenda setting
• focused time blocks
• short rest breaks

And I adjusted what didn’t fit anymore.

By mid-morning, I wasn’t chasing the day.

I was leading it.

Most women I work with have some version of this.

But it’s often the first thing to go when:
• pressure rises
• life speeds up
• or a structure disappears

Protecting your focus and strategic thinking time isn’t self-care.

It’s leadership.

It’s what allows you to design a structure that can actually hold your business and your family—without you becoming the system holding everything together.

You become the architect.

And your days become calm, clear, and precise.

If you’re thinking about how to reset your time and energy heading into summer, I’m hosting an *Executive Calendar Audit* on April 29th.

It’s a small, focused working session for women operating at a high level who want their time to reflect that.

You’ll walk away with 1–2 precise shifts to create more space in your week.

Comment *audit* or send me a message and I’ll share the details.

Everyone’s talking about luck today. 🍀

But behind most “lucky” businesses I see?

It’s not luck.

It’s design.
And the right conversations.

This week, I spoke with two women.

Both growing.
Both respected.
Both deeply committed—to their work and their families.

And both felt the same thing:

everything still required them.

One is stepping into low six figures.

Momentum is building…
but her days are still filled with follow-ups, small decisions, and staying close to everything so it runs well.

She wants bigger clients.
More meaningful rooms.

But her time doesn’t reflect that yet.

The other is further along.

Mid six figures.
A business that works.

But her attention is full.

She has support…
and still finds herself reviewing, refining, staying close.

Holding the standard behind the scenes.

I know this space well.

It’s not a success problem.

It’s that everything still runs through you.

And at a certain level, that becomes the work.

Not doing more.

But designing differently.

Because the question changes:

Not “How do I get more done?”
But “What is truly mine to hold?”

💫 The highest level of success
isn’t how much you can hold—

it’s holding the things that bring you
the most joy, meaning, and prosperity.

That’s the shift.

Where your business grows…
and your life feels whole.

Where your team steps up…
and you’re no longer the quiet checkpoint behind everything.

Where your days have space—
because everything is designed to support how you lead now.

🍀 That’s not luck.
It’s leadership by design.

If this resonates, I’d love to hear—

What still feels like it runs through you right now?

Holding a lot today as a daughter and a coach.

The news about Iran has felt heavy this weekend.

It’s my dad’s home country. He hasn’t been back since 1963.

There’s something strange about watching a place that shaped your family and your Faith become a headline. It feels far away. And not far at all.

My dad left as a young man and built his entire life here. What he carried with him wasn’t geography. It was steadiness. A quiet work ethic. Faith. The belief that you build what you can, where you are, with whoever is in front of you.

I’ve been thinking deeply about that.

At the same time, we’ve just finished celebrating the Baha'i Festival of Ayyám-i-Há and now entering the 19-Day Fast.

Holding those two realities together feels very real right now.

It makes me think about leadership in a quieter way.

Not the kind that performs.
The kind that steadies.

When the world feels uncertain, the instinct is to tighten. To brace. To grip harder.

But steadiness does not come from gripping.

It comes from knowing what is actually yours to carry.

And what is not.

That feels especially important to me tonight.

Today I’m thinking about roots.

About what we carry forward.

About designing a life and a leadership that regenerates love and protects our energy so we can respond with strength instead of reactivity.

With you,
