Went to Boston and returned with hardware. Also we learn something by falling in the 55m. No matter what we FINISHED, I looked her in her eyes and said some people came ran and returned home still loving the sport.
Me: you still love the sport
Her: yes dad!
Me: well good cause you fell and still leaving with medals.🤣

Moral of the story - it’s fine have a lot of track to run and it was a teachable moment. Thank God she wasn’t hurt.

Had to explain PR’s are most important, she said how did I win my heats but 6th overall for the 200? Told her times will always tell the truth baby. Track is teach both of us a lot, I thank God for these type of days. One thing I know she will work. God I ask for you to place people where you need them and that’s even us. So blessed to be Amirah’s Dad💚✨🙏🏾 73 girls only 6 can stand on that podium! #Proud #Girldad by @coachantg_7
