Congrats to Chase Gilley (7) for being named the Charlotte Observer’s Soccer Player of the Year. Congrats to Logan Gilley (11) on being named to the Charlotte Observer’s 1st Team as well. The Observer covers about 200 schools in the region, so this is a big deal. Also pictured, the Charlotte Observer’s Co-Head Coach of the Year (Along with Charlotte Catholic’s coach). What that really means to me is I had a tremendous team. So congrats to these 2, & the entire team on an outstanding season. by @coachbilly1

Congrats to Chase on receiving the Golden Boot at the Greater Charlotte Soccer Gala. That goes to the highest goal scorer. Also, for some reason, I was named Great Charlotte Soccer Coach of the Year. I really can’t believe that. I didn’t even win conference coach of the year. I don’t really know what to say, & didn’t there either. I’m honored, but really thankful for my team & staff. This is their award...they’re the reason for this & everything we’ve done. Thanks to the Charlotte Soccer Gala, @soccerreelz & Tom Glick, who is President of the Panthers & Tepper Sports, worked with Manchester City, & even gave our team a shoutout tonight. I’m a proud coach. taken in Project 658 by @coachbilly1

I hadn’t been to a game in the remnants of a hurricane before. I’m used to a rainy game, but that was still an experience. Fun times tonight with some friends/for@er soccer parents, Brandy & Quincy. We saw a comeback, and thanks to my ticket rep, got on the field after. It was a good night. Now to see how long it takes to get dry. taken in Bank of America Stadium by @coachbilly1

A few of us are braving the elements tonight. My seats…still dry. Doing as one does when watching soccer in the rain….eating a croquet monsieur. taken in Bank of America Stadium by @coachbilly1

I’m not saying there will be stuff all over the place in Lincolnton soon. I’m just saying there’s a chance. I can honestly say I’ve never done that before. by @coachbilly1

Based on the start to this season, we may not be getting another one of these in the spring. However, there are still 82 games to go, meaning there’s plenty of time to turn things around. We’ll enjoy this. Go Canes! by @coachbilly1

We are back, and for 1 week, we’re dominant. I didn’t get to post this video last season until the end of October. I like this. Win 1 in week 1. J-E-T-S, JETS JETS JETS! ✈️ by @coachbilly1
